We loved the decor in the bar and the rooms it was a beautiful building. The staff were really lovely, it has such a great vibe The location was great we were just a 5 min walk from all of the bars and shopping
Because of the building it doesn’t have a lift, so bear in mind if you have heavy luggage.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean and had air con which was very useful during the extreme weather we had. Fairly good storage space in the room and a good shower. The breakfast was good and also drinks from the bar. The style of the hotel is eclectic and individual and has many interesting features.
Unfortunately the hotel did not have a lift and our room was on the 3rd floor up 60+ steps. We probably wouldn't have booked this hotel had we known this. The toilet in the basement was unpleasant and needs refurbishment.

THe bed was very comfortable, the room itself was a good size and the breakfast was good for the price.
THe hotel was over a bar, in fact the whole operation felt like we were in a bar rather than staying at a hotel. A party was thrown on the second night of our stay, right under our room. It was impossible to sleep with all the noise and we were not happy to say the least. We discussed the situation with management the next day, who gave us 2 free drinks and a free breakfast for the inconvience.
