Hotel Emblemático La Casa de los Naranjos

The hotel is a delightful place, in a lovely quiet village. It is beautifully old fashioned and rustic, and the level of service is top drawer. Although there is no evening restaurant, the village has a number of good places to eat and drink. It’s also an ideal base to explore the North and centre of the island.

It was a wonderful experience since the beginning and until the end! Every detail in this hotel is well curated, chosen with taste and sense. We were welcomed by a very nice men, and while we were waiting for our room to be ready he showed us around the property, sharing stories about history of the place and the village, which just felt so special and warm. The hotel has a beautiful patio, an outdoor rooftop, orange trees and even a preserved historical library. The room was stunning, aesthetic, with very comfortable bed and linen, climate control and big shower area. The breakfast experience was outstanding as well - good coffee, fruits, fresh juice and a pretty big menu of other options. We’ve also checked out early and had some food to-go prepared for us in advance. Overall and most importantly, it just feels like everybody who is involved in running this hotel day to day treats it like home, not just a workplace - with a lot of joy, love and care. It makes the ambient of the stay very special, comfortable and safe. It was an unforgettable experience and I’d recommend this place to everyone visiting the area !

It is obvious a real effort is made to present a high quality stay

Our bedroom had lovely large sash windows but there was no lock or catch positions to keep slightly open for fresh air, albeit there’s excellent underfloor aircon

We recently stayed at Hotel Emblemático and there was so much to love. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent.

Unfortunately, our stay was affected by construction works. On two mornings we were woken up by the noise and couldn't keep our windows open because workers were passing directly in front of our room. Despite raising the issue on site and following up by email afterwards, our concerns were not acknowledged, which is not what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. It's a real shame, as this could easily have been avoided by informing guests beforehand or not allocating the affected rooms. That would have made all the difference.
