The property is well-situated, has friendly staff, and further has a very pleasant pool area. The furnishings were adequate and the apartment was generally pleasant. In terms of location, the apartment is very well located with ocean access, though the nearest beach was not our first choice considering that other beaches farther away had better amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas, and food service built in. Plenty of space for families in a very nice area.

The apartment, while generally nice, lacks somewhat in some important details. First and foremost, be mindful that this facility does not have wifi. As an international traveler, it is frequently the case that I have capped data speeds and limited access to the internet via my cell plan in the BEST of situations. El Gouna, and the property, did not prove to be the “best” of situations in this regard. It is evident from my experience that the management of the property expects guests to provide their own internet access, so if you are like me and depend on wifi to manage your life while abroad, I would suggest looking at nearby hotels which are more inclusive in their offerings. I was not expecting not having wifi and that remained a persistent problem throughout my stay. As a secondary issue, I was not entirely impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. While normally, small issues such as leftover dried urine on the toilet seat from prior occupants can be unpleasantly overlooked, it is worth noting here when writing an honest review. Furthermore, the dried urine that I found on the toilet seat on arrival further soured my experience, as no one likes to deal with insufficient cleaning in what should be one of the primary cleaning concerns. Overall, my impression was one that I would recommend an inclusive alternative in comparison to this property’s offerings. Hotels in the area are frequently competitively priced and offer free access to some of El Gouna’s more built-up and established beaches. Furthermore, wifi is a standard amenity in most any hotel, whereas this property treats it as a luxury that you are expected to cope without. To quote the manager, if you need wifi “i am sure that every one had internet on their phones..”
