JUST WONDERFUL
The cottage was fantastic. Beautifully welcomed with wine, pocesso, chocs and flowers. Clean, tidy and airy. I fall in love with the place. Amazingly homely and well decorated - excellent taste. Couldn't have asked for a better location or cottage to stay in. Loved every minute of being there. Thank you. We will be back. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom, had all the basics etc. Although we didn't us the fire, loads of woods to burn etc.
The only thing I could think of and it's so minor it's silly really. In the downstairs twin bedroom I would put an extension cable in behind the bed so that people can charge their phone next to the bed. Like I say silly improvement but although we are told not to charge phone next to the bed most people still do.

Relaxed in a great location near to the town and also the beach and riverside walks.
The location was excellent and the quality of the interior was to a high standard that suggested that the owners really cared for their property and the people who used it. Also... and it might seem a small thing but it isn't, there were plenty of spare towels, tea towels, sheets, blankets, toilet paper, scribbles etc. in other words, we were treated like adults who weren't about to flee the premises and steal the single teatowel that some places provide that's expected to last a whole week. The shower is wonderful too! The kitchen is fully equipped and there are plenty of spare cups and saucers etc.
Not a dislike as such but being tall, I found the settee too short for reclining on but that's just one of those things. I'd also consider making the dining area seats a bit deeper as they tended to cut into our thighs. Fine for dinner, not so good for sitting for any extended period of time. None of this detracts from the fact that it's probably one of the best places we've stayed at in a couple of decades.

Exceptional
This is a very cute cottage nestled in a small village. We wish we had planned more time to enjoy/explore the town of Nairn itself. The cottage was clean, quaint. The treats were welcoming. There are so many little details about our stay here that we loved, the binder explaining everything in detail, the notes about the history of the cottage, the attempts made to preserve, reuse and use up-cycled furniture during renovation. It was lovely to read notes from other guests about their stay. The laundry was a lifesaver, after a ‘Go Ape’ adventure in pouring rain, we were able to wash our gear and hang dry on the drying rack, using the extra fan in the closet everything dried, all our gear ready for the next day. Every effort has been made, lots of towels, comfortable beds, room temperature, to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If arriving late from a city where there is always something open, be mindful this is a small village and plan ahead. We arrived late on a Sunday and were happy to find Lorenzo’s pizza and a small grocery still open. In the morning there are nice cafe’s with delicious sweets, coffees, teas, sandwiches. Our short time in Nairn was memorable, a place we would like to revisit. The
