Villa Thromila - Panoramic Sea view in South Crete

The villa was really great! We stayed with 11 girlfriends, and had the time of our lives. The host was incredibly friendly. We were delayed with the plane so we arrived late at night. The host was there and they had even baked a delicious Greek cake for us. We had also asked them to do some necessary shopping for us. They had done that and was very nice! Thanks again for this. Halfway through the week there was cleaning and then the owner arrived again with some goodies. Very nice, and delicious too! The villa is in a different location than Booking indicates, namely in Souda instead of Plakias. It is on a hill, so a rental car/taxi is very handy. Bike rental can be done through the villa, we didn't as we had rental cars. Because it is on a hill you have beautiful views! Plakias is 3 km (40 min walk or 5 min by car). The taxi to Plakias is €10. At the villa there is space for 3 cars (to park behind the entrance gate, so you are safely parked). Beautiful pool (we had it heated) and a nice bbq (with even a fridge near the bbq). The villa consists of 2 attached houses with room for 6 people in each house. Each house has a separate kitchen, sitting area, bathroom and toilet. Ideal if you are with a large group; everyone can retreat if they want. At the pool there were 9 sunbeds with parasols. There was even a play area with swing, ping-pong table, slide. The whole property is fenced and with a gate. We felt very safe. There was also wifi in the villa and by the pool. The rooms were spacious and had lovely beds. The bathroom was also nice, there were even 2 washing machines (incl detergent!). There were also yoga mats. In other words; the villa was really fully equipped. It was a great stay and the value for money was excellent! We had a great time and hope to come back soon.
