Bed was very hard

The location and property are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious.

We were woken up shortly after 6 a.m. by extremely loud stomping and what sounded like furniture being dragged across the floor in the room above us. The noise continued for nearly two hours and made it impossible to get any sleep. What was even more disappointing was the way the situation was handled by reception. When we raised the issue, we received little more than a dry “sorry” and were told that the guests above us had already checked out, so there was nothing they could do. While I understand that the hotel cannot control every guest’s behaviour, I would have expected a much more professional and empathetic response. Having worked at a hotel reception desk myself, I found this particularly surprising. Even when an issue can no longer be resolved directly, there are still ways to acknowledge the inconvenience and make it up to the guest. Whether through a thoughtful gesture, some form of compensation, or simply a more sincere and proactive approach, good service recovery can make a significant difference after a disrupted stay. Unfortunately, none of that was offered, and we were left feeling that our complaint was simply dismissed. After losing almost two hours of sleep early in the morning, the lack of genuine concern from the front desk was ultimately just as disappointing as the noise itself.

My room was very comfortable and elegant. Everyone at reception was pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was nice.

Nothing

We stayed for one night as two families (4 adults + 4 kids) while attending a nearby wedding. On the positive side, the bed was comfy and breakfast was a really pleasant surprise, tasty with a great variety!

The hotel claims to have air-conditioned rooms, but the temperature is centrally controlled from reception, so you can’t adjust it yourself. That said, the room stayed reasonably cool despite the June heat, though it felt a bit misleading. The rooms are small, quite old, and smelled strongly of chlorine when we arrived, which didn’t really fade. Considering the location and no pool, the cost felt high for the value.
