The Coach House was perfectly adequate for our purpose which was for visiting relatives.
I liked the lounge and the property was warm and cosy. The owner was warm & welcoming. Pam wasn’t fazed when we asked for a different configuration of the bed. (To change from double to two singles).
The coach house is a little shabby and smelt musty. The quilts could have been warmer. They felt like light summer ones rather than winter ones. At least there were rugs that we could use, although the rugs could have been cleaner. The bathroom is a bit old fashioned but worked perfectly well. But a shame about the paint peeling off the shower cubicle ceiling and the towels weren’t generous and definitely threadbare. Just a little investment would make it more comfortable eg. Quilts, towels, extraction fan in the shower and decorating the ceiling. But happy to stay there again.

A spacious, warm and comfortable apartment.
A friendly welcome. A spacious, cosy and warm one bedroom apartment. A big comfortable bed (which can be converted to twin beds) and a good shower with plenty of hot water. A washing machine, drying rack & iron. A nice garden setting away from the road.
If there are people staying in the upstairs apartment there is a lot of noise from footsteps & the TV. The entrance from the main road is quite narrow to turn into.

A nice weekend getaway
Loved how quiet the place was. Was very spacious and felt like home away from home.
There was no wifi available, as there was an issue, but came in expecting this as other reviewers said the same, it was hard though as you could hardly get any network signal both partner and I were batling with 1 bar each or separate networks. The owner did apologise for the inconvenience which was appreaciated. Another downside was how thin the walls were, you could hear everything going on with the couple upstairs who kept us awake from 7am on a Sunday after going to bed at 4am, which wasnt great. We could actually hear them snoring while we were watching TV which was very surreal. Luckily they didnt come in until Sunday afternoon, before that it was very peaceful.

If there are people staying in the upstairs apartment, you do hear them talking and the floors squeaking but it's manageable

Plenty of space, lovely pool, very clean
The only downside was that in the living room you could hear the telly upstairs from a guest, I presume through the large fireplace.
