True hospitality with an incredible eye for detail.

Incredible attention to detail. Gorgeous private villas with a stunning design aesthetic. The staff were also incredible. The food delicious. And the gardens and horizon views made for a very peaceful nature retreat.

- Being so close to nature, it is a bit difficult to prevent ants from entering the room. - The Western food menu could be improved to match the excellent quality of the Indonesian dishes.

Luxury meets nature with phenomenal service and attention to detail

We absolutely loved Munduk Cabin Float. The setting is breathtaking — pure nature — and the gardens, pathways and landscaping are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The staff were genuinely amazing: warm, attentive, and made everything feel effortless. The restaurant was a standout. The food was genuinely incredible and, during our entire stay, we didn’t eat anywhere else. We did look at other options, but we quickly realised we were already staying at the best restaurant around. The attention to detail in the rooms was also next level — everything felt curated and special. They provided beautiful fresh coffees and teas and replenished them daily, which made the whole experience feel truly cared for. The service overall was phenomenal, and having massages in our room was the perfect touch. It felt like real luxury — unbelievably luxurious — but still completely immersed in nature. An unforgettable stay.

This hotel was one of the best experiences we have ever had as a family.

The jungle views are absolutely breathtaking – waking up surrounded by nature felt magical and incredibly peaceful. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, very well designed, and perfectly clean. Everything felt thoughtful and comfortable. The pool looks like something from a fairytale – stunning, calm, and surrounded by greenery. It quickly became our favorite place to relax together. One of the biggest highlights was the evening bonfire with marshmallows. It was a wonderful surprise for our children and such a special moment for all of us. Our kids were thrilled, and we will remember it for a long time. We traveled with four children, and from the very beginning we were treated with exceptional kindness and care. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, not just accommodated. Every interaction was warm, patient, and professional. The massage was also excellent – deeply relaxing and perfectly done. A real treat after a day of exploring. This place combines nature, comfort, and heart in a rare way. We are truly grateful for the experience and would recommend this hotel to families and couples alike. We would love to come back.

Perfect stay

The cabin was beautiful. Clean, comfortable, cosy, modern. The in-room tablet for WhatsApp communications and music playlist was a lovely touch. The in-room massages were great! The staff were always smiling and helpful. The food at the restaurant was also delicious. And surprisingly, there were hardly any insects.

Our stay at Munduk Cabin was pure magic. The property is small and intimate, which makes the experience feel incredibly personal and peaceful. The all-around service was outstanding — everything was taken care of with such attention and care. We loved the in-cabin massage with the stunning view right outside our window and pool, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A hidden gem that offers true relaxation in every detail.

Outstanding, memorable and relaxing!

Munduk Cabins is exclusive with only 7 cabins. Prices at the restaurant, bar and spa were comparable to those outside the resort. Staff were personable and attentive. Food and drinks were excellent. Everything required for our comfort was considered. The pool and hot pool were lovely. The location is very good and near to most attractions. The complimentary plantation walk was a highlight.

The true feel of Bali! Felt relaxed happy and taken care of.

The location of the property way up in the mountains amidst villages in a non touristy area was a huge plus. The weather felt like air conditioning was on all the time. Was impressed by the attention to detail the designers of the resort had gone through to give a super luxurious and peaceful stay. Felt very relaxed and rejuvenated. The whole staff were incredibly helpful and obliged to all our requests in a timely manner. Special shoutout to Pushpa and our team. The Balinese massage was unlike anything I had experienced before. It was so good that we had it twice. Lastly a huge thank you and a big shoutout to our driver and guide Kadek. The resort had arranged him for us and he made all the difference for our Bali vacation. You will not regret a stay here

Puspa's assistance was particularly noteworthy; her warm demeanor and proactive support ensured a seamless stay from check-in to departure. The manager also deserves high praise for going above and beyond to make our visit truly memorable. Beyond the exceptional service, the culinary offerings were a delight. Each meal was a treat, and the punctuality of the delicious breakfast delivered to our cabin each morning was a lovely touch. The cabins themselves are a marvel of design and craftsmanship, unlike anything we've encountered before, providing a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing retreat. This resort is a hidden gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable escape in Munduk, Bali.

It is a jewel and deserves five stars

It deserves ***** instead of four. I really do not understand why it has only four stars. The rooms are spacious, well designed, comfortable with magnificent jungle and ocean views. We practically got a flat. The amenities are awesome. There is a big variety of real teas. The minibar is full of different kinds of drinks (from whisky to champagne…, chocolate and beer). There is room cleaning twice a day! Bose portable audio device plays your songs or that they suggest you, it is up to you. It is far from overcrowded. You can find real solitude. The hot tub and the pool are not big, but are enough and have a scenic view to the mountains and the ocean. Free jungle tour is offered every morning with a nice guide. They offer several tour options if you need some. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very good and has a modern style.

The surrounding villages are in very poor condition. There is not much to do around the hotel. If you want to explore the region you definitely need some kind of transportation. It is pretty far from any other noteworthy settlement.

5 Star Service in Paradise.

Munduk cabins, it's location, staff, food and facilities were just amazing. From even before we arrived we felt super well looked after (with whatsapps from the property helping us with our arrival). The view from the cabin and the pool and hot tub was divine. The food at the restaurant unbelievably good and all of the staff were just amazing. Real 5 star service. Thank you so much. If you are lucky enough to come to here I'm sure you'll agree its a little piece of paradise.

The only thing that I didn't love was that we stayed in the 2 room cabin (which was great!) but the rooms weren't connected internally (you had to go outside to get to each room). I really wish I'd known this in advance, just so I could have managed my expectation (even though my kids aren't toddlers any more I was uncomfortable with them having a separate entrance to me). Also the room downstairs smelt quite musty which is par for the course in the tropical heat but terrible if you have allergies.

Secluded cabins feels out of this country. Surrounded by lush greeneries kept the temperature cool and nice. Cabin build and amenities inside cabin is of good quality.

Price a little steep. Not much facilities besides the firepit and small pool. Breakfast is very simple and modest. Very small portion and few. Would prefer the towel not heavily scented with fabric softener.

An exceptional stay. This hotel is outstanding in every aspect. If you choose any category for rating, it can't be less than a 10. As for the food in the hotel's restaurant, it's a whole new world. I believe they have brought in the best chef in the country, or perhaps the chef of the president himself 😄, because I have never tasted anything more delicious and exquisite than the food served in this restaurant.

Great place to stay a few days in the North of Bali. You can enjoy the fresh(er) air of the mountain and the wonderful nearby hikes. Wonderful view from the cabin and from the pool. Munduk Cabins is absolutely amazing, the setting, the facilities, the food and the staff were unparalleled. The cocktails were outstanding, the way the staff communicated was very helpful, the pool and jacuzzi have a view that is very impressive and the cabins were extremely spacious and comfortable.

The cabins are very remote to get to and with the altitude everything stays damp. It’s definitely worth the drive up and down the little road to get there but you have to be ready for the remoteness.
