A beautiful place with a lot of history. The room was comfortable and beautiful. The cat greeting at the reception is super cute. A place that respects and cares for animals is my type of place! Loved it! 10 stars.

Loved the place and where it was situated .. among the ruins of the past .. it was the best feeling . Nizwa fort was about 30 mins and we had no regrets staying away from the fort . It has a lovely cafe too . The rooms were cozy and very comfortable . It is done very aesthetically but simple.

Beautiful and unique Traditional style rooms, as well as stayed with kids we booked 2 rooms, it was nice experience , kids enjoyed unique style of the hotel. We stayed on the second floor the stairs were narrow and we had suitcases, but lovely stuff assisted without hesitation to bring bags up, and take them down upon check out .
Rooms had everything we needed : fridge, toiletries, towels, sleepers.
Water was also provided
It’s not a dislike just for information hotel is in Nizwa not in Jabel Al akhdar ( about 45 minutes car ride to the green mountain ) so the temperature was same as in Muscat .
As a suggestion may be some selection of savory sandwiches will be nice if they had in the coffee shop, so we could enjoy breakfast in the hotel cafe along with the coffee ( which was amazing )

No breakfast but it is mentioned on the wifi ticket they give you. Nobody at reception
Nobody at reception during arrival , had to call owner. After check in nobody was there. There were musquitos and we needed water but nobody was there and tried to call owner few times, no reply..
The location is great though and the house is a very special old traditional house. Issue is only with staff and reception. Also no breakfast, while the ticket they give you with wifi code says 'breakfast 7 -9 pm'
