Nice to be in the middle of nowhere surrounded by sheep and pastures. We both slept really well as it is so peaceful. The room is comfortable and cosy. There are solar lamps for trips to the bathroom and a sensor light outside. Very thoughtful breakfast with cereal, fruit, toast and toppings. Was great to not have to think about finding somewhere for breakfast (and I don't there isn't anywhere in Tapawera). They let us take Gizmo our very small dog who had a ball running around. The area we stayed in is fully fenced. Bath wasn't available as the water tanks levels were low but it was a bit chilly anyway. Recommend you take slippers and a dressing gown for bathroom trips.

This stay was something very special. Emily is a very friendly, warm-hearted hostess. She showed us everything, told us about life here and introduced us to her sweet animals. The tiny house is located in the middle of nature and very cozy, we felt very comfortable. The bathroom is located outside the house and is well equipped. There is no Wi-Fi, which is perfectly suited to this stay and hasn't been missed. Emily served us a delicious and lovingly prepared dinner, that left nothing to be desired. The breakfast was also excellent, and we even received a packed lunch, which we enjoyed on our way. Thank you so much Emily for your exceptional hospitality!
