Parvekkeen maisema oli ihana. Sieltä sai myös mukavasti lisätilaa. Kaapeissa ja laatikoissa oli kaikenlaista hyödyllistä. Sieltä löytyi mm. teippiä, jota tarvitsimme yllättäen.
Ei ollut kunnon tiskitilaa, eikä paikkaa kuivattaa astioita. Oletus (näin kuviteltiin) oli kuitenkin se, että astiat pestään, kun lähdetään. Huone oli yllättävän ahdas. Oli vaikea kulkea pöydän ohi. Tilaa pukemiselle oli lähinnä parvekkeella tai eteisen puolella. Ei tilaa matkalaukuille.
