Misleading Listing and Unsanitary Conditions

Unfortunately, the property was completely different from what was advertised on your website. The pictures shown on the listing did not match the actual condition of the place. The overall environment was very poor and extremely disappointing. Most concerning was the kitchen area. The cooking equipment and utensils were dirty and not usable. My sister was unable to cook anything for her children due to the unsanitary condition of the kitchen. This created serious inconvenience and distress during their stay.A full investigation into this property. Appropriate action against the host for misleading information. Consideration for a refund or compensation due to the unacceptable conditions. Removal or correction of this listing to prevent other families from experiencing the same disappointment.

Overall not bad value for the price

Very easy to find and check in. It was a short walk to the centre of Swansea and to the train station or 5 mins by taxi. Good value for money for a group, has the basics needed for an over night stay.

The back garden is definitely due renovation and there are some areas that could do with being cleaner. The decor and layout is quite dated, But it’s an older house so that’s to be expected.

This place needs a lot of TLC!

It was basically clean, beds were comfortable, parking was easy, location was central to town for watching the marathon.

Couldn't get much on the TV. The bath was very high and didn't feel safe, needs a bathmat at minimum. The garden totally unkempt. The decor was grim and very poorly done. The tangle of wires everywhere was worrying. I can't imagine anybody would book this twice.

We enjoyed our stay apart from smelly kitchen and parking facilities.

The property was good and clean. It was comfortable to stay in.

The kitchen smelled of pee. Hard to park in the day. Heating was complicated to put on even though we had instructions.

In overview flat was not what I expected. In advertising the flat was NOT facing the sea . I have to walk 20 to 25 minutes. No a access to national Tv . Some film you have to pay to assist. Need to improve a lot ,

Clean and tidy stay just ten minutes from Swansea International Pool

The property was in a good location for our needs (a ten minute drive to Swansea International swimming pool for a competition). It had a useable kitchen with a washing machine and two separate bedrooms meaning we didn’t have to share with our two boys. It has a decent size TV in the lounge (though it would be better if wall mounted).

When we arrived in Swansea it was about -4°c and found that the house was like a fridge because the owner likes to keep the heating off when no one is in the house. It took all night to warm the place up and in fact it was only by the time we got to Sunday did it feel properly warm. The stairs are very very steep and the landing floor slopes which is not helpful if you have any physical issues. Also we ended up not at the pool on the Sunday and as the weather was so bad we had a day staying in (aside from popping to Sainsbury’s - 5 minutes away to get food to cook) we found at the point of serving up the food that there wasn’t enough cutlery for the four of us. I didn’t message the owner at the time because we were literally serving up food so we popped down the road to Home Bargains for a cheap cutlery pack. I mentioned this to the owner when we checked out and he told us it would be topped up.

The horrible smell hit you when you walked through the door. Very bad we could not stay. This place should never be registered on booking

Lovely comfortable stay at Swansea cosy stay

Lovely little house in walking distance of everything. It had everything we needed and loved the little extras like Netflix, books and a hairdryer. 2 min walk to shops and the Plantasia attraction which we enjoyed and around 15 min walk down the marina to the beach and a play park which was empty despite it being August. We had a lovely stay. Many thanks
