Place to be while in Ubud

Everything! Staff was amazing and attentive, resort was beautiful and well maintaned. I even got room upgrade to villa with a private pool which was amazing! There is a free shuttle to ubud city center and they provide free yoga classes.

Amazing stuff and beautiful atmosphere

Beautiful, peaceful resort surrounded by nature. Very calm atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and recharging. The staff was kind and attentive, the room was comfortable and clean, and the pool area was especially lovely. Great location close to Ubud but still quiet and private.

Nothing major. Sometimes the humidity was noticeable, but that’s expected in Ubud and didn’t affect the overall experience.

A hidden gem

The property was absolutely stunning! From the moment you arrive, the staff anticipates every detail big and small. The service was at the level of the Four Seasons. The grounds of the property were very peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant on the property was very good as well. I can’t wait to return!

For a villa, it would have been more convenient if toilet paper could be flushed, as we were advised this may cause blockages. Private pool lights must be turned on at night, as this may help prevent frogs from ending up in the pool the next day.

Gorgeous Rooms with Friendly Staff

The rooms were lovely. The bathtub was amazing and right beside the pool! The staff was so friendly and helpful, always willing to help. The complimentary massage was terrific.

I wish there were a few more restaurants that were closer by. I didn't realize how far we were from the city center. It would have been great to be able to add on to your massage.

A wonderful bespoke resort tucked away from all the busy hustle and bustle of Ubud

I enjoyed the layout, it represents a true retreat where you can get everything you need. I really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom in the cottage. Walking around the resort you can see it is well taken care of. Almost every tree in common areas had a white orchid and the monstera plants were large and vibrant. The dining options were a good range, staff always greeting you and asking if I needed anything. In particular staff member Candra from the front reception was a super star! Thank you for my little Christmas present! 💗

This has nothing to do with the property itself, however locals were setting off fireworks nearby. Understandably it was during the Christmas/new year celebrations. Lots of dogs barking in the morning but only for a short time.

Excellent!

The staff was very accomodating and welcoming. Every inch of the resort was beautiful and instagrammable. Love how spacious the villa was. Kids enjoyed the in villa pool and bath tub. They were very helpful when we requested for last min breakfast in the villa, as the kids were too excited to swim and refuse to leave the room. The complimentary massage was simply a cherry on top of a beatiful cake. Felt energize after the massage. all in all a beautiful resort and villa with world class hospitality. Definitely recommended

All ini vie hospitality was offered free afternoon tea. However time was very much limited between 3.30 pm to 4.30pm.. we arrive almost 5ish, and missed the complimentary tea set. Would be great if the timing for the high tea could be extended, as the traffic in bali is rather unpredictable.

Exceptional stay, highly recommend!

I just had the most incredible stay at Amarea Resort! I loved everything about it: the warm welcome from the staff, the amazing facilities, the spa, the swimming pool, the quiet location, and the incredible quality of the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The Japanese cuisine served there won't disappoint you, it was absolutely stunning. The staff were exceptionally kind. I booked at the very last minute, yet they managed to accommodate me and even offered an upgrade to a cottage without me having to ask. I stayed for two nights and genuinely didn’t want to leave. I would recommend staying at Amarea without a moment's hesitation.

Nice property, but sadly not restful

The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast selection was excellent, the room was lovely, and the location was really convenient.

The room was very noisy because it was located directly under the kitchen. It was loud until around 11:30 pm, with constant squeaking and footsteps. From 5:30 am it started again with the same noise.
