Saranda Port View Apartments

Perfect location just a few minutes from the port on foot. It's a 5 minute walk from the beach boulevard so it's very close to everything, but far away to be calm and quiet at night. A huge plus is that you don't have to walk to a hilltop to reach the apartment. Everything was very clean and the AC cooled down the living area effectively. The check in was easy and the host was very nice. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is an elevator and a big balcony. Plenty of good bath towels that were changed once during our one week stay. There are many shops (including a big Spar) nearby. All in all great value for money and I would book this apartment again in Saranda.

There was no toilet paper at all on the property so we had to buy that first thing. There were no duvets in the apartment, which was strange. It wasn't a problem in hot weather (we just slept under loose sheets) but it would be in a chillier weather. When it's very hot outside, the AC unit in the living room doesn't effectively cool down the bedrooms even with the doors open. We managed to sleep without problems, but you will not get a cool bedroom (more like 25 degrees Celsius).

This stay was fine! The rooms were fine, but the view was amazing! The location is literally 2 mins from the port; perfect as we continued our trip to Corfu after Sarande. The beach is also very close, and the bathrooms were nice and newly renovated!

As we stayed with 30 people, we stayed in 6 different apartments, but some apartments were just better than others. For example, all the apartments were supposed to be for 5 people, but only 2 out of the 5 apartments had 5 beds. The other 3 had "sleeping couches" which were just couches without any bedding etc. We also were missing a lot of towels/bedding, and while we asked the host to bring those they never arrived. And the most ridiculous happened, be careful when looking up the address as the one on google maps in INCORRECT and on the other side of the city! Use the address provided on Booking or you'll have to walk 30 mins. In our opinion this is something the host should rectify on Google, but we could reach him by phone to learn of the correct address. The rest of the communication with the host was sometimes a struggle.
