A good place for a short break.

A cosy little house, well equipped with very comfortable beds.

Although there were 8 beds the house was only really equipped for 6 people.

Overall the property was bigger than we had anticipated and was very tastefully decorated with good quality fittings throughout. We had a thouroghly nice stay and woul definately recommend.

Great value for money with very available & clear hosts. The cottage had ample parking at the back & was a great base for our group of friends.

The accommodation was perfect for our size group, the shower was very powerful and in general the property was very clean and tidy. The location was good for what we wanted to do and see. The owner was very helpful and provide the information in a timely manner. I would definitely go back and stay here and recommend it to others.

A very pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed the ambiance. The location was fine, but a bit removed from the town center.

Just a little trouble getting access on arrival, but the problem was resolved in two hours.

be nice to have had couple of teabags and long life milk as arrived after shops shut on Sunday night and couldnt bring with us as would have been in car for about 6 hours . minor point though as shops opened early Monday

This is a lovely little house.

The entrance and parking for the property was easy to find with the instructions the owner provided (although initially it was a little confusing because the contact number on booking.com is for the son of the owners, but he put me in contact with the owners). There was plenty of hot water for us all to have showers and quickly get out in the morning. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The house is warm but we were able to control the heat. There is little road noise and so you could keep windows open at night as well.

One of the bathrooms has a hand-held shower. The water pressure is good and it would be so much better if there were a holder for the shower head higher up the wall so that you could have a proper shower. Also the shower curtain was a little short and so it was easy to wet the floor.

The property was fantastic - well stocked, impeccably clean and beautifully renovated. It was close to what we needed and worked fantastically for us.

One of the double rooms is very small, and in the loft conversion so it has a sloping ceiling that necessitates bending right over the bed to reach the far side. With 2 people in this room, it can be difficult to get in and out of, especially if guests have mobility issues.

Perfect cottage stay - highly recommended

A really lovely stay, wonderful host, very well equipped, comfy and clean. Great location, handy for shops, but quiet and peaceful. Will stay again next time I need to be in the area. Really comfy bed too!

GL11 community centre visitors parked me in a few times (blue badge holders being a bit thoughtless) - but that’s not the host’s fault.

Good location, clean property and easy check in

Very clean property and spacious for 6 adults. Kitchen was very well stocked for teas and coffees and breakfasts with plenty of space to eat at the table. Location was brilliant for a wedding we were attending and close to local shops. Checking in was easy and very good contact with the owner beforehand and clear instructions.

The extractor fan on the top floor bathroom was on constantly meaning the guests on the top floor did not have a good nights sleep. We searched high and low to find the switch and even tried the fuse box but it wouldn’t switch off.

Good location, comfy well-equipped cottage.

Good location for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage had all we needed for the week, the kitchen was well equipped and the shower on the 2nd floor was very popular! We appreciated all the homely touches and the soft towels. The beds were comfortable and provided a good space for our 3 (almost) teenagers. We didn't really use the garden but it was nice to have the chairs, tabl4s and parasols if we had needed to.

Only small feedback would be that the pictures show a welcome basket which isn't provided, perhaps worth updating the photos. Also a pint of milk in the fridge would be appreciated, although the Tesco is very close, the ability to make a cup of tea/coffee after a long journey would be good.

Clean comfortable cottage well equipped kitchen , with in walking distance to Tesco, and several food outlets . Was great for us after long days walking the Cotswolds way .

Ruime cottage, van alle gemakken voorzien. Perfecte locatie.

Het inchecken op de 5e verdient niet de schoonheidsprijs. We zouden vlak voor aankomst een mail ontvangen met de parkeerlocatie en pincode van de sleutelkluis. De eigenaar was slechts te bereiken via whatsapp en kon ik telefonisch niet te spreken krijgen .Heel vervelend als je voor de deur staat. Om 16:41 uur 1e app gestuurd. Om 17:07 uur 2e app gestuurd. Eerste Reactie van Lee was pas om 17:28 uur. ! Melding was “ I”ll have a look now. Om 17:52 uur heb ik weer een app gestuurd omdat ik nog steeds niets had gehoord en mijn vrouw nodig naar het toilet moest. App van Lee om 17:55 uur: I, m trying to get hold of Jane. What number/ email was used to book the reservation. I answered at 17:56 : booking .com. At last at 17:57 app from Lee with the key code. ! At 18:31 Lee send long app with all necessary info about the cottage , the pincode and things to do in and around Dursley, So we had a very late check-in. Tip: zorg ervoor dat de eigenaar van de accommodatie rond check-in tijd (15-17 uur) ten allen tijde telefonisch bereikbaar is en gebruik geen whatsapp. Is veel klantvriendelijker en er kan altijd iets mis gaan, heel begrijpelijk. De start van onze vakantie was dus niet geweldig , maar het verblijf was verder super. We hebben absoluut geen op- of aanmerkingen over de cottage zelf, de indeling , de hygiëne of de locatie. Het was in 1 woord geweldig. Bij ons volgende bezoek aan de UK zullen we zeker weer een poging doen deze briljante cottage te boeken.
