My parents stayed at the The World Backwaters Alleppey, and it turned out to be a great choice. The biggest highlight was definitely the location — right on the beautiful Vembanad Lake. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful. The misty early morning sunrise over the lake was beautiful and felt perfect for people in their 50s and 60s who just want to relax, walk around, and enjoy nature at a slower pace.
They also arranged a boating experience, which my parents really enjoyed — a relaxed ride through the backwaters that added to the overall charm of the stay. They also had dual cycling, which became a surprisingly special memory — my mom had never ridden a cycle before, and it was genuinely pleasant to see her trying it with my dad. Small moments like that made the trip even more memorable.
There were some renovation works in progress during the stay, which caused minor inconvenience. Hopefully, once everything is fully completed in the coming months, the overall experience will be even better.
