BO-BOU Suite

Location, location, LOCATION: Perfect. Hollywood Wlak of Fame is a block away. Walkable to everything you’d need: CVS, Trader Joe’s, Burlington, Chinese Theater, Roscoe’s and all other major takeout restaurants. Five minute walk to the subway and buses. For the purpose of our stay, #2 bus took us straight to UCLA. Nice and scenic ride of about 35-40 min. The apartment is exactly as pictured, and has a nice vibe— as a native NYCer I can appreciate an urban lofty experience. Felt like home. Nice surprise of it having balcony doors. Huge place for a studio. Nice layout. Rooftop is nice — especially at sunset. Washer and dryer worked fine. Street Parking was easy as well, but we didn’t stay on weekend days so not sure how it all goes then. We got a spot right on the corner — the same spot twice! Street parking is e-metered at about $1.80 every two hours, but free from 8pm-8am. You can use their website to add money as you go. Host was super responsive and accommodating. Looking forward to our next two upcoming stays here.

Whomever lives upstairs is pretty noisy at night, but couldn’t tell if it’s just because of the way the apartments are built and sound proofed, or if it really WAS the neighbor. Sometimes sounded like they were in the apartment with us. But didn’t last long enough to cause any sleep disturbances. Just odd is all. Didn’t experience any abnormal street noise because we stayed Monday PM-Friday AM. Just the usual fire truck type stuff typical of cities at night.

The room was very big, confortable bed!

The room was a bit noisy, people in parties near the flat, friday and saturday specially.

Location is hard to beat.

Full kitchen had limited dinner ware (for instance: one mug, no cups) some of which was broken or chipped. The plate in the microwave was broken. You could not open the windows. Confusing signage for navigating the facilities. (Where is the roof deck? Where is the garbage facilities? ) No hand towels or washcloths.
