Beach Retreat A

The kitchen and main living space were very accommodating for our group of 4 families. It was an easy walk to the beach as well as the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We found the elevator to be a great asset since we had a family member that has difficulty with stairs.

The property is managed by Vacasa. Upon our arrival, the door code provided did not work. After communicating with Vacas through text messages, Tony came on sight to assist. The code did not work for him either, but he was able to reset it and program a new number. Unfortunately, it stopped working the very next day. I used text messaging to notify Vacasa and always got a prompt acknowledgement, but no one ever came to fix it, despite asking each day for 4 days. At one point I was told the request had been elevated to the local team, but no action was taken to fix the issue. Sharing one key for 4 families was very inconvenient. I don't think they are doing a great job managing the property. Simple things like the towel bar and toilet paper holder in one of the bathrooms were missing. I notified Vacasa, but they didn't come to fix them. It didn't feel like the customer experience was a priority.
