Beautiful stay at this lovely house for a family wedding.

This was an amazing property, excellent facilities and immaculate. Based in easy walking distance to the cathedral which was great as we were at a wedding there. Enough parking for three cars if placed right . Would definitely recommend 😊

Lovely friendly feeling home from home

Really relaxing house that felt very homely and well appointed. Teenage son loved the cellar conversion for an extra chillout area. It was beautifully clean which was great because it is pet friendly and often pet friendly accommodation is not as clean or well appointed. Good easy off road parking.

The house is on a busy noisy main road but despite this it still felt very peaceful with a lovely garden out the back.

Close to train and Tesco. Comfortable and well appointed. A lot of thought has gone into the furnishings.

The stairs are steep and for the elderly or less mobile could be problematic.

A very pleasant stay in a very pleasant town

Elegant, spacious and well equipped Victorian property. A very pleasant garden area. The owner was prompt and helpful when contacted. A good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits. Good location with an easy level walk into the Abbey Gardens, most of which is on a traffic free path. A fair price.

Although there is ample parking space, access to parking is over a kerb from a busy road. Our EV had plenty of clearance but it did jolt the electronics into a hissy fit for a little while. Although not a problem for any of our party the stairs up to the property are quite steep (the owner did warn us and advised us that an extra stair was planned) and the internal stairs are quite steep (as one expects in a Victorian property).

Exceptional house

This house exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculately presented and looked exactly as the images have shown. It was very clean and simply perfect for our family. We have a young baby and the host was very accommodating towards our needs, as well as easily contactable, which was very much appreciated. The heating and hot water worked perfectly, the kitchen had everything that we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The location of the house was fantastic - it was opposite a Tesco superstore which was really convenient. We couldn't have asked for a more cosy and family friendly house. It truly felt like a home away from a home.
