Love the location - so beautiful and perfectly situated for exploring the natural beauty of the environment. The owners allowed us to borrow their paddle boards for the river, if we liked. The owners prepared our room with a special touch to mark our anniversary and big news, so I thought that was a kindness. Beautifully renovated historic mill-to-house. Decor throughout exceptional. Food at dinner time very good and high quality. Fresh bread during breakfast time was beautiful and the danishes from a bakery were really appreciated. Tea/ coffee facilities in the room were a good touch. We were able to use a fan during our stay to cool our room down- it was conviniently left out in the hallway for use.

The room we stayed in was a little noisy at times. Others conversations in the hallway felt very loud and intrusive in our space, as did people using the stairs or getting in and out of their own rooms, or patrons in the restaurant. No mini fridge in the room. No casual/ living room space to relax in - communal or private. Pressure on check in time - I was not made aware the whole guesthouse , not just the restaurant, was not open on Mondays and a member of staff specifically needed to await our arrival to give us the room keys. Traffic, roadworks and a generally long trip made us late, and a phonecall from one of the owners saying this when we were halfway through the journey put us under pressure and generally just feel bad and guilty. Maybe having a lockbox with the room key in it and some instructions would suffice and take pressure off the owners, given all that happened on the day of our check-in is a key was placed in the door of our room and we were led to it. I was sorry for being a trouble to the owners. More warm options (sausage, eggs etc) / yogurt/ cereal at breakfast would be welcome additions.

Es ist ein besonderes Schmuckstück. Die Ausstattung ließ uns mit allen Annehmlichkeiten in die Vergangenheit reisen.

Die Pension war super gelegen, um schöne Spaziergänge, Wanderungen und Radtouren zu machen. Es war ein ruhiger schöner Ort, ideal um sich mal von dem Stadtalltag zu erholen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Pension wird von den Gastgebern liebevoll geführt. Am besten hat uns das dazugehörige Restaurant gefallen. Wie waren dort jeden Tag hochklassig essen zu echt fairen Preisen. Das Frühstück war perfekt, vom leckeren Cappucino bis hin zum variierenden Gemüse.

Byli jsme nadšení z pohostinnosti majitelky, příjemné rodinné atmosféry, vynikající snídaně s domácím (ještě teplým) chlebem, výborné jídlo v restauraci, příjemný personál. Perfektní výchozí bod na výlety po okolí. Pohodlné postele. Moc jsme si pobyt užili a rádi se vrátíme.
