Grand Baie View Appart

The location is excellent — very close to Grand Baie Beach and not far from the large Super U supermarket, which is extremely convenient. The balcony offers a nice sea view. The lounge is spacious, clean, airy, and suitable for a family of four. Bedroom 1 has a large bed, and Bedroom 2 has two singles, which works well for families. The Wi‑Fi was simple and easy to access, provided directly by the host. Overall, it’s ideal for travellers who mainly need a comfortable place to sleep and won’t spend much time indoors during the day. The host was available and responsive to a few questions which was good and there was other staff members that I saw in the morning very welcoming.

There can be some noise at times due to the central area. The bathroom is functional but dated, and the apartment overall feels a bit older. Clearer signage outside the property would help, as it can be difficult to locate on arrival. Parking is available, but the space inside the complex is tight and requires manually opening the large gates. The surrounding roads are busy and narrow, so it’s better to stop the car briefly before attempting to park inside.

The appartment was located very well. It was big and everything was present.

There was a weird smell in the bathroom. It smelled like the gutter.

The perfect location and the nice apartment.

Location was amazing. It was central to everything. We were able to explore so many different restaurants on foot and it’s around the corner from one of the most famous creole restaurants. A giant market is a few blocks away as are several beautiful beaches.

The actual apartment is very run down and could really use a makeover. Lots of dirty walls and peeling paint. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed so we didn’t move to another place because of the location and cost. I guess you get what you pay for. It could really be so much nicer if it had a little care and some work on the exterior as well. The harbor has a nice path around it but go out to Pereybere Public Beach which has a nice sandy beach. We also found more private beach areas by talking long walks.
