But was not offered clean towels or linen Washing machine so we washed them ourselves Lovely warm old house

Traffic was really bad in the day Very noisy But wouldn't bother you if you were out all day If a little TLC was given the house would be perfect 3rd bed room very draughty window

It was like a home from home. We loved all the quirks and little details that made it unique and very cottage core and comfy. It’s central to many of the different attractions across North Yorkshire, and was the perfect base for our wonderful wee family break.

I can’t think of anything. There were a few things that could benefit from a wee bit aesthetic update. But for us it only added to the charm making it feel more like a home than a clinical holiday accommodation. We have no complaints regarding the property.

Good facilities, especially having a warm utility room where our dogs slept. Spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Great walks on quiet lanes. Close to Ripon which has a good selection of supermarkets and local food shops.

Odd that the property was not decorated for Christmas at all. The kitchen needs a hand whisk please.

Beautiful house, much bigger than expected! The main bedroom was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The property was very clean and had everything we required. Great location for getting out and about to the many local attractions.

The garden needed a little attention - it would be lovely to sit out there and watch the farm animals but it was too overgrown to see them. Although the property is pet friendly, if you have a small dog you will need to put something up at the bottom of the gate on the driveway as the gap was quite big. This wasn't an issue for us, but please be aware that the driveway is very tight! Finally, nothing to do with the actual property, but the local pub had changed management and was closed at the time we visited which was such a shame!
