A Unique Designer Chalet with Character

wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome and we’re very generous. loved the interior design. the position overlooking bourg gave a wonderful view down to the town and panoramic to the mountains beyond. this is a new favourite place for us, on the way to skiing and we hope to be back for a longer stay in the summer.

For us this property didn’t really work and we should have researched the location a bit more. Access to the accommodation was challenging up very narrow mountain roads and if the weather had turned we would have been in a difficult situation without winter tyres. Accessibility to the accommodation was also difficult and steep especially when carrying bags. The shower / bathing facilities, although aesthetically attractive were not adequate for 4 people and sadly there was not enough hot water available each day. The hosts were really nice and this house could be perfect for some families but just not us.
