The apartment is well-designed, spacious, and clean with attention to detail. .The surrouhding area is generally quiet and safe, it has plenty of small shops with the Metro and buses within walking distance. A 5 day ticket costs €8.
A kettle, a bedside lamp and a dustpan would make useful additions.

It's a very clean, comfortable apartment with all the necessary kitchen appliances, washing machine, air conditioning, etc. The host, Niko, was very approachable and helpful. The location is not at the center, but it was conveniently close to where I needed to work temporarily. Even if you are a tourist, it's got an easy connection with the metro to the center.
The only thing I might add is another air conditioner in the living room. Athens is insanely hot in the summer. But it was still comfortable in the bedroom where there is an air conditioner.
