Ortakoy Aysem Sultan Hotel

Great location: very close to Ortaköy ferry terminal, nearby the lively area with restaurants, shops etc The room was tiny, but provided access to the balcony and a lovely view of Bosphorus from the window. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Everything else was nice and we enjoyed our stay at this hotel

Everything was super nice! Very friendly people and perfect location only 2 m walk from the boat/busstops. Very quiet neighborhood. I recommend!

The location of the property is excellent — very close to the Bosphorus, with easy access to the river and bridge, which was really nice. The apartment itself was clean, simple, and comfortable, making it a good base for exploring the area.

I was expecting a hotel-style stay, but the accommodation felt more like an apartment building, which I didn’t enjoy as a solo traveller. The metal doors were very loud, and I was woken several times by neighbours coming and going. The bathroom was not in good condition and really needs updating — I avoided using it more than necessary. I spent most of my time out and only returned in the evenings to sleep, which was manageable as I met friends while I was there. This place may be suitable for travellers on a budget, but it wasn’t the right fit for me personally.
