Quite end of the island, simple but has everything you need. Room is cleaned every day, fresh towels every day - nice! Good selection of breakfast! Really just best place to do nothing but relaxation, eating good food and do absolutely nothing. Hopefully the island will stay as quiet and big developers won’t go there 😉

Could look into having a drinking water dispenser where guests could refill their bottles- getting less plastic to the island.

I arrived around 12 and they told me to wait for the room to be ready. I ended up waiting for 3 hours. Staff could have told me about delayed check in time. Also staff did not know english very well. People who arrived after me got their rooms way before me. Okay place, but communication could be better.

quiet resort where you are one with nature

the owner is very nice and has all the amenities available for the guests. there are resort dogs here, who make a very friendly atmosphere. it’s right on the beach and scooter rental is available so you can get away from the resort. it’s clean and the mosquito net was a blessing. one with nature at this resort

not enough beach lounge chairs to go around. food was expensive compared to other areas of the island. it’s a long-ish walk to the scooter parking lot. it was very hot at night

Good stay

The bungalows are incredibly good value for money. Very clean, new towels every day and two small bottles of drinking water.

Because of its remote location, there could be more facilities like a free drink water dispenser and hot water to make coffee or tea (however, they gave it to us every day when we asked for it). there are no shops around or local restaurants and the restaurant is expensive by Thai standards.

Pleasant

The ocean view and the other lodges on the beach next door to coral Bay had a nice ambiance. We found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the other lodges on the beach than coral Bay.

We didn't feel that "welcome", when we requested something we felt as though it was a mission even though a simple task. The service was not as friendly and warm than expected... The bungalows face eachother so you don't really have any privacy as you have guests on either side of you and right in front of you. The menu prices were very expensive for what you get.

A perfect island retreat for the whole family

Coral Bay is a remote island destination that is everything you want it to be. Nothing around but a couple other small beach resorts. The property consists of a row of a dozen or so bungalows dotting their way up a hill from the beach. At the beach you will find the restaurant area and beach chairs under the shade of a tree.

I loved everything about my stay at Coral Bay Resort. It was my third time on the island so I knew the north is more remote and calm, which was exactly what I was looking for. All the staff was very kind, but special thanks to Aew, the owner, who is all the time looking after her clients, trying to be sure that everybody is satisfied. I stayed in a sea view bungalow, which was exactly like on the pictures, very clean and comfy. There are more resorts on the beach, so it is longer and you can get some nice beach walks. It is as well possible to rent a scooter and explore the island. Oh and I especially loved the handmade beach bags they let in the rooms as a courtesy to use! :-) Overall, I would surely repeat!

Perfect location in the middle of nowhere, nice beach, view from beach on the sea. Good for snorkeling.

Our bungalow was inside ugly with broken linoleum, bungalow made from desks -> very hot inside, it smelled. The staff in comparison with other Thai people was not smiling, you have to say them hello as first, prices of food and services higher than expected. Breakfast 200 THB, Taxi/pick-up to KohJum center 700THB per one way

Empfehlenswert für Menschen, die es ruhig mögen und keinen Wert auf Komfort legen (Cottages)

Die Anlage liegt schön und ist sehr gepflegt Der Strand ist schön (weißer Sand) , bei Ebbe gibt es einen bequemen Weg ins Wasser. Das Frühstück war inclusive und man kann zwischen verschiedenen Optionen wählen. Das Essen ist sehr gut, die Speisekarte reichhaltig. Das Personal ist supernett und hilfsbereit. Tagsüber ist keine Musik im Restaurant, abends ein wenig, nicht zu laut. Das ist sehr angenehm. Insgesamt ist es sehr ruhig, es gibt ausreichend Liegen und Liegestühle an Strand. Es gibt reichlich Schattenplätze. Es gibt schöne Spazierwege in und durch den Wald in die nächsten Buchten

Die Cottages sind aus Beton und Kunststoff gebaut, und optisch auf Holz getrimmt im Gegensatz zu den Bungalows. Das Mobiliar ist dürftig, ein Tisch, zwei Stühle und ein Kleiderständer.n Kein Schrank, kein Regal, keine Bank. Man lebt aus dem Koffer, der auf dem Fußboden steht. Die Toiletten sind sanierungsbedürftig, insbesondere die, die zum Restaurant gehören, sind unter aller Kritik. Der Betonweg zu den Häusern ist ein wenig gefährlich für Leute. die nicht so gut zu Fuß sind.

Erholsamer Platz im Paradis mit bestem Team

Die Bungalows liegen schön ruhig an einem kleinen Weg Richtung Meer, das Resort liegt ruhig an einem schönen Strand. Das Team ist wunderbar, freundlich und lustig, das Essen super lecker. Man kann Ausflüge und Massagen vor Ort buchen und bekommt jede Hilfe die man benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Der Strand, der direkt am Hotel ist, ist wunderschön und super zum Schwimmen. Man geht am Strand entlang zur Hauptstraße, ganz entspannt für ca. 5 Minuten, da sind die Mopeds, die es sehr günstig für den ganzen Tag zum Mieten gibt. Dort kommt man auf perfekt gepflasterter Straße überall auf der Insel hin. Mopeds mieten geht gleich an der Rezeption. Ich würde das Erkunden der Insel sehr empfehlen, weil es sehr viele nette kleine Restaurants, Kaffees und Bars gibt. Das Bett war etwas hart, aber so wie überall in Thailand bis jetzt. Geschlafen haben wir trotzdem gut. Also hier auch null Beschwerden. Gerade der Sonnenuntergang direkt am Strand ist unglaublich schön! Wir haben ihn jeden Abend genossen. Direkt am Strand gibt es auch 4-5 Bars, die alle sehr nett sind. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Ich habe das Gefühl, alle in Thailand sind sehr nett, aber hier war’s nochmal eine Stufe höher. Das Essen direkt am Hotel war sehr, sehr gut. Wir haben versucht, uns möglichst durch das ganze Menü zu essen. Bungalow war super nice, absolut keine Beschwerden. Auch wenn es keine AC gab, war es kein Problem, denn mit dem Ventilator war der Raum trotzdem sehr angenehm. Wenn man unter Tags die Fenster offen hat (was kein Problem ist, denn man hat Moskito Netze am Fenster), wird es auch gar nicht erst sehr heiß. Am Abend ist es sehr ruhig und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die gesamte Insel war wunderschön. Wir wollten nach unserem 4-Tage-Stay hier verlängern, aber leider war schon alles ausgebucht. Wir werden aber auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Der letzte Weg, wenn man direkt zum Hotel fahren will, ist eine nicht gepflasterte Straße, aber die haben wir außer einmal zu Fuß (wie wir zu dem nahegelegenen Holy Tree gegangen sind) nie verwendet. Diese Straße wurde nur bei An- und Abreise verwendet von den Taxifahrern. Man kann direkt vom Pier mit einem großen Toyota abgeholt werden und kommt sehr entspannt in so 15-20 Minuten hin, also absolut kein...

Das einzige was schade war war die Abreise da wir hier wirklich gerne länger geblieben wären.

Locatie, totaal afgesloten! Geen normale verbindingsweg weg. Zeker 3km naar de hoofdweg! Bed enorm hard, geen airco dat wisten van te voren. Wil je compleet afgezonderd zitten dan is dit wellicht prima.

Tolles Bucht - toller Bungalow - richtig schön!

Tolle Lage - tolle, wenn nicht die schönste Bucht der Insel! Anlage gepflegt, gute Ausstattung und sehr freundliches und richtig nettes Personal. Man sollte unbedingt einen Bungalow mieten - wir hatten auch ein Cottage - ist wie übersetzt halt eine Hütte. Die Ausstattung dort ist ok, jedoch nur kein Fenster und somit kein guter

Das Frühstück war europäisch langweilig - schade.
