LS9- La Palmera Luxury by Valcambre

The apartment was fantastic. I was torn between having a plunge pool and being closer to the city but I'm delighted I went with plunge pool. It is a little far for walking in high heat but absolutely doable. We walked one way and bussed or ubered the other. Uber is about 10euros but the bus is very easy, convenient and right around the corner. We were able to get the bus to the theme park very easily. You have a choice of supermarkets under 5 min walk and restaurants around 10min walk. We stayed in the deleux- we loved it- air con was pumping- no issues at all. Our apartment faced the street so we had some shade at some times on our terrace (which was a godsend) (we brought an umbrella that you can attach to the railing to give shade in the pool) the pool is as described- chance to cool off- all 3 of us sat in no problem. My parents stayed in one bed and had the main pool area to themselves alot of the time. The apartment had all modern appliances, well stocked on everything. The host answered very quickly with any queries I had. Would definitely recommend if you wanted a dip during the day on your city break esp with teens it is a great compromise for pool relaxing and sightseeing.

We were fine as we were a family but it is important to note- the bathroom is through main bedroom door and the terrace is through the upstairs bedroom (no door) We loved our stay

Only 10 minute taxi from the town centre. Ubers were very reasonably priced around €8-10.

Everything was great

Location is fantastic with a lovely little Delicatessen underneath that serves fantastic sandwiches. A small bar opens underneath as well but shuts quite early. The pool on top is a lovely little extra but is not heated. 20min walk through María luisa park and another 10 to the old town.

Nice and spacious apartment.

There is a weird smell when opening the windows looking into the inner side of the building. Luckily the larger living room windows face outside.
