It has good design. It is much better than most places inside the park. I took the train up (book in advance) and took a public bus to the hotel. There's a bit of a walk (a nice one) to the hotel, or call them and they'll pick you up. The hotel staff is very nice. There's a place to see the sun—with directions. I found it useful to scout it out the day before. 100 percent recommend. When I went there were a lot of people enjoying their sunrise. If you like quiet, come early and bring noise canceling headphones.
The food is fine. I got a personal hot pot (I think that's their only choice)—more than enough for dinner. Breakfast is buffet, which is just fine. Local food of course! This is a really local place, with a mix of aboriginals and non.

I like the design and overall presentation of architecture, except for lack of noise proof walls. I can hear toilet and door sounds from next door.
I stayed for the weekend and therefore the rates increased by TWD 500 per day, otherwise, I'd say it's more worth the value.
Staff are helpful and courteous.

I stayed here for two nights as a solo traveler, and overall I had a great experience. The staff were very, very nice and helpful, the location was perfect, and the place was clean and beautifully designed.
The only thing to keep in mind is the size of the room — it was tiny, tiny, tiny.
Other than that, everything was perfect!
