An excellent location in the most attractive part of Warsaw

The room smelt a little musty, perhaps because of damp.

The location

The room was very noisy, and I could hear everything from the corridor. The shower curtain was in poor condition, and the curtain pool was broken.

L'appartement est situé à deux pas de la place de la vieille ville, dans un endroit magnifique, dans une maison d'époque. Des parkings à proximité. Il n'est pas grand mais largement suffisant et confortable, vu qu'on visite beaucoup.

le seul petit bémol c'est qu'il est au rdc, nous n'avons pas osé laisser la fenêtre grande ouverte alors qu'il faisait très chaud

This property has a lot of potential but the hosting was substandard. The location was fabulous. A couple of short blocks in one direction and you are in the heart of the Old Market Square. In the other direction you are climbing the old city wall. The flat was a good size with a small but adequately equipped kitchen. Good value for money. The breakfast when it finally arrived one day out of 3 was decent. Fresh sliced continental break, fresh cold cuts and cheese and fresh salad.

Breakfast was included in the price but it only showed up outside my door one morning out of 3. My conclusion is that it comes with the cleaning lady. If she doesn't have any flats to clean that day, you will not get a breakfast. My building entry code simply did not work so I was effectively locked out and had to rely on someone coming out or someone coming in who had an electronic fob that worked or the workmen being there. This hampered my movements. I could not risk coming back too late for fear of being stuck outside for hours before someone came along. This is not a big building so comings and goings are not frequent. This building is being renovated so the halls are dusty with masking tape sticking out and battered fittings. The other problem I had was the unwillingness of taxi drivers to go right to the door. The street is definitely trafficable. I was dropped off at the street below and had to lug my suitcase up a steep set of stairs. Luckily, some nice young people came along and helped me. When I arrived the front door was open as the workmen were just leaving so it wasn't until the next day I realized that the code I was given didn't actually work. Getting the flat's door key out of the little box was also tricky but the young people again helped me.
