Booked for MotoGP Weekend – Mixed Experience
We booked a room for the MotoGP weekend and unfortunately had a few issues on arrival. The door code didn’t work, which made it difficult to get into the place then issues into the room initially. When we finally got in, we were disappointed to find the room had no window and a very strong, unpleasant smell—like a bad drain.
It also wasn’t the room we thought we had booked. The bed sheets were too small for the mattress, and during the night we ended up sleeping directly on the mattress, which didn’t feel clean.
We messaged the contact and thankfully were moved to a much better room. This one had a window, no bad smell, and a fantastic view of the cathedral. It was a big improvement and made the rest of our stay more enjoyable.
Overall, it was a rough start, but the response and room change helped turn things around. Double-check your booking details, and hopefully you’ll land a room like the second one we were moved to.
