A localização é excelente, especialmente para quem chega pelo aeroporto de Heraklion. O espaço é amplo e confortável, oferecendo diversas comodidades, como cozinha equipada, toalhas, secador de cabelo e ar‑condicionado. Há diversos comércios na mesma rua, como supermercados, padarias, hotéis e lojas de roupas. Dá para passar uma estadia muito agradável e sem preocupações.

Eu preferiria que o quarto tivesse uma cortina black-out, capaz de bloquear completamente a luz externa. Como o tecido da cortina atual é fino, praticamente transparente, as luzes da rua atrapalham um pouco na hora de dormir e permitem que o quarto se ilumine completamente assim que o sol nasce, logo no início da manhã. As praias mais conhecidas de Creta, como Balos e Efalossini, estão a cerca de 3h/4h de distância de carro/ônibus. Talvez seja um pouco cansativo escolher essa acomodação se o objetivo principal da viagem for visitar esses locais.

The apartment is in close proximity to the central street and we were able to walk everywhere. The room is spacious and has everything you need. The building itself is quiet despite being located on a busy street. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the hosts had left for us bottles of water and some fruits - it was a very sweet gesture :) We were in constant communication with the host and even though we didn't see her in person, we felt supported throughout our stay.

The main thing we didn't enjoy is the fact that the double bed is made of two separate mattresses, which eventually tend to spread out a bit in the evening. The mattresses themselves were very comfy. The other drawback was that there are no parking spots available near the building, so we had to use a paid parking lot about 300-400 meters from the apartment.

The apartment is very well equipped with all the necessary items. Maria had filled the fridge with water and soft drinks and also provided fruits and tea/coffee sachets. We arrived late and she was kind to wait for us and handed us the keys. She also allowed us a late checkout. Location of the apartment is nice and not far away from the city center.

There is no view from the window, but since we were away the whole day visiting the touristic sites sites, it was alright for us.
