The Gold Flake Chalet

Awesome, so fun to stay in such a great house.

Hot tub broke, which was a major attraction. We were offered like $10 off our week stay which was kind of insulting.

We absolutely loved the views, location, pool table, the whole space was roomy. The pool table was a major hit and very much appreciated.

The beds! Every. Single. Bed.! They were all extremely uncomfortable and hard!!!. The fact that the hot tub was out of order just made it even worse because every single day we slept in those beds, it would have been nice to dip ourselves in there to heal from the stiffness. The media room’s speakers didn’t work. The kitchen’s faucet was very quirky, sometimes it would allow you to rinse your dishes, wash your hands or grab some water but otherwise, you’d have to use the bar sink which I’m assuming the garbage disposal wasn’t working because the water wouldn’t drain. The Cuisanart coffee pot also didn’t work in the kitchen, just beeped. We ended up using the one to the right of it but we had 6 adults who drink coffee in our party so just inconvenient to only be able to fill 3 cups then have to do it all over again for the next 3 and again for the second round. On warmer days, the sun was shining and there was no way to cool the top and second floor even with the doors and windows open. It would have been nice to have a fan in at least the master bedroom. I was also looking forward to using the grill but it was unavailable.
