Les toilettes sont sur le palier ........ la nuit , ce n'est pas très confortable.

A large and interesting house which has been renovated to a high standard. We had a very warm welcome from David who helped us carry our large suitcase up to our room. The room itself was a good size and with a nice walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was very quiet but with the lovely sound of the river opposite. There weren't any restaurants open so David offered a charcuterie board which was very plentiful and good quality along with a good bottle of wine. On our second night Severine suggested a restaurant in a nearby village. We had a table in a pretty courtyard; food was excellent and had interesting flavours and the wine as very good. It was a little pricey but worth experiencing their style of cooking. Breakfast was simple, good coffee, bread and croissants, choice of juice and fresh fruit which was more than enough for us. We didn't make use of the jacuzzi on the terrace as we are not fans but it's an excellent addition to this B&B. Lots of places to visit but as we only had one day we went to the helicopter museum at Dax which is also a Roman Thermal town. We had lunch in the Halle where are many food options at different serving places - it was difficult to choose as all the food looked to be of excellent quality. To enjoy all that the area has to offer you would need at least two nights.

Not having a loo in the ensuite but as we were the only guests it was OK though a basin in the loo would be good. (we mentioned this to David)

The bed was comfy

Resturant was closed .it should state that on website. Breakfast i asked for hot water for tea. Never got any no knifes on the table.to cut bread. The owner was bizzy with a work man.that was there. My husband had a coffee.very poor breakfast .crossont and a coffee. And a glass of juice.
