Bayside Hotel & Self Catering

Staff were friendly, cooking stoves,microwave, aircone, and TV was working fine. The place we find it's very clean 👌....thier beds were comfortable.

The noise on the room above us was very, it was like they had a party until 1h00 in the morning. We didn't sleep well because of that noise... We needed our private in the main bedroom, which we didn't get,which we were not comfortable with without locking our bedroom door as we were traveling with kids. All three bedroom doors were not locking

I was very certified with the cleaning lady at forth floor, where I was at 409... She's a worth taking or an employee of the month... Her cleaning, her care of changing linen... she's accommodating

😢stairs killed me , my legs still hurting... but because of their welcoming stuff, it made me not to wonder.

Location was fantastic access to shops n transport got free pop corn free wifi

Will appreciate if the rooms will have broom n mop because we end up messing up and wait for the cleaners for something we can do ourselves

We stayed here because we were running the Comrades marathon and it is 400m from the start. There was Aircon that worked perfectly. The mattresses were very comfortable. The fridge worked well. The water pressure and hot water temperature was excellent 👌 the sheet was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. And it seemed pretty clean. All in all I was ok with the accommodation, but it definitely was not what I was expecting as the pictures were not an example of the room we got.

The room were not quite as expected. The room pictures on booking.com did not quite match the room that was made available to us. The pictures show well finished, neat rooms. But there were holes in the walls from previous fittings that had been removed. The paint on the walls was peeling in places, there looked like exposed wires where they are perhaps putting in new light fittings. There looked like mould on the ceiling of the bathroom, there was no basin plug in the bathroom basin. There is no electricity outlet plug for the kettle in the kitchen area. There was a cupboard door missing from the kitchen cupboard, there were no forks and only one butter knife, no frying pan, no dishwashing soap, which is not great for a self catering accommodation. There were a few stains on the duvet. Looked very run down. Perhaps they are in the process of renovating?
