The location is superb with a couple of stops from takamatsu central, legendary Udon and a sea sunset to die for. My actual goal was a 1 stop, 6am ride to Ritsurin gardens to beat the heat and the crowds. For that it was perfect as a sort of one night coin-locker. I slept a couple of hours ON the bed in a room that is a sliding door partition of what was once an entrance hall. It’s vaguely clear which toilet is yours next to the cooking hob. Your shower is on the stairs above if you can fit into it. Above that is another room which unfortunately had a family and young child. Luckily, it was only one night and didn’t need a great deal of sleep or amenities other than a shower after the gardens and off to an ApaHotel. There is zero security, safe, proper door lock so you can’t leave a passport in a sliding door room and an open-to-all front door.

Somewhat dour room cleaning lady who didn’t bother with a customary ohayou!
