A gem of a place off the beaten track.

This place is a gem. Our Google maps took us straight there but the owners also sent detailed instructions. The place is like an Aladdin's cave with antiques and a unique design. It's a stand alone building next to the home of the hosts. There is a small brook outside the deck and the whole attic is a large bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom large and spacious. It felt great to have our own living room with a wood burning stove, very cozy. Breakfast was amazing. Our host Sabine asked us what time we wanted it and arrived at that time with a wicker basket full of fresh pastries, jams, eggs and cold meats with cheese. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen that brews fabulous coffee by the cup. We were blown away by the hospitality. We have some French and that is how all communication is done, Sabine and Richard don't speak any English.

Amazing fairytale small house in a quite and calm neighbourhood.

Sabine was so attentive to the details, made us feel at home. she was so kind and helpful. We had a lovely time in this almost a fairytale house. We love it.

The property is very difficult to find by GPS, but we follow the instructions. And there is a staircase to the top floor and is very dangerous. I end up hurting my shin going upstairs. Would like to see some protection in there.

Great beautifully decorated house with a super friendly owner. Late check in wasnt a problem and they even brought us dinner!:-) and then offered a very early breakfast since we had an early flight. Cannot recommend enough

Decorated beautifully, feels very homey and cozy. it has a character. Close by the airport. the hosts are charming and it shows that they care and love to host.

If I could, I would give this place much more than 10 stars. It is truely exceptional in all respects: We were just looking for a place close to the airport for one night, but found an apartment so nice, beautifully decorated and designed, with lots of personal touches, very comfortable and calming. The graden with the flowers and gold fish, the wonderful breakfast, the comfortable beds, and above all - Richard and Sabine - we were welcoming and so kind and helpful. I would defitely arrive here again.

The place is very special, the setup is really nice and the hosts are very warm people. Be aware that it is a bit difficult to find the place. Waze and Google Maps do not bring you to the right place. Call the hosts when you get close. You need to cross the railroad pass and continue a few hundred meters

The double bed is too narrow for 2 normal adults. I tried to move to one of the single beds but the mattress is much too soft

very friendly and helpful hosts, welcomed with hot soup upon arrival, and breakfast was rich and delicious. located in very quiet place, no disturbing sounds from street at all. all is so cute and retro style, so cozy! And, there is working phono with vinyls, enjoyed listening Edith Piaf's album and watching fire inside heatening fireplace :) Sabina helped a lot in organizing transfer to airport, thank you very much!

- remember to check correct location on booking.com map, it shows correct one, but Google Maps and Waze pinpoint to location in ~1 km away from correct one. - main bed is narrower than usual and might be small for two people, keep that in mind, but there are 4 beds total, including rather big crib.

Relax weekend met instant thuisgevoel in mooie omgeving

Het ontbijt was voldoende. Er werd bij het 1e ontbijt ook rekening gehouden met opmerking ivm kaas, bij het 2e ontbijt zat er wel kaas bij. Maar zelfs dat was geen ramp want hadden nog voldoende keuze uit andere belegopties.

Warm om te slapen maar host doen er alles aan om het zo koel mogelijk te houden. Beneden in het huisje lukt dit goed, boven iets minder, maar de tropische temperaturen van vorig weekend hebben zij natuurlijk niet in de hand 😎

Casa accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario. Richard e Sabine sono due host fantastici, non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla. Ci hanno aspettato all'arrivo, portato la colazione a casa tutte le mattine e si sono anche presi il disturbo di portarcela l'ultima sera in quanto avevamo l'aereo presto. Super consigliato!

Un véritable cocon de douceur et de sérénité

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner à La Petite Maison, et ce fut une expérience absolument merveilleuse. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une grande chaleur par Sabine et Richard, des hôtes d’une extrême gentillesse et attentifs à chaque détail et demande. La maison, pleine de charme, est décorée avec un goût exquis dans un style anglais raffiné qui invite à la détente. L’atmosphère y est sereine, paisible, comme si le temps s’y suspendait. Une vraie parenthèse enchantée. Le service est tout simplement irréprochable, et le petit-déjeuner, de choix, varié et généreux, est livré directement à domicile. Un pur moment de plaisir pour commencer la journée en douceur. Un immense merci à Sabine et Richard pour leur accueil si chaleureux et leur sens du détail qui rendent ce lieu unique. Nous espérons avoir la chance de revenir très vite pour nous ressourcer dans ce petit havre de paix !
