Sehr netter Gastgeber, funktional alles ok und gut Preis/Leistung

Nette kamers, goed ontbijt en dichtbij de halte van de skibus.

Wer gerne wandert, eine gute Aussicht zu schätzen weiß, ein herrliches Frühstück und ein sauberes Zimmer mit Bad möchte und dann glücklich ist, bucht diese Unterkunft. Die Zimmer und das ganze Haus sind im ursprünglichen Stil der guten alten Zeit. Hier ist man fern ab vom modernen Trubel und genau das hat uns richtig gut gefallen, fühlte sich an, als ob man einen lieben Verwandten besucht, denn das Willkommen ist sehr herzlich von Herrn Gerke, freundlich und persönlich. Wer sowas liebt und auch gern mal eine Kuh streichelt und sich freut das die Kälbchen noch bei der Mama sein dürfen …., ist hier genau richtig um sowas zu unterstützen, damit diese tolle Pension mit noch soviel Liebe weitergeführt werden kann. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 🫶.

Location, scenic view, cozy, pet friendly

The kitchen utensils and cooking pots and pans need upgrading. Only one pot had a lid, there was no cheese grater and no vegetable peeler. The host, although very friendly and gracious, spoke no English or Dutch and was very busy tending to his cows and other Farming activities, so I would then expect at least an information booklet in the the room, explaining topics like how the dishwasher works, where to leave the rubbish, whether to separate recyclables or not and other pertinent and important information. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was as soft as a towel. Another annoyance was being woken up by loud noises early (3 am - 4 am) in the morning from either the farmer leaving or other guests. On checking out, I was surprised by having to pay an additional fee for the family pet we brought with and additional city taxes , over and above what was as advertised to us on Booking.com. As we did not expect this amount, we had to leave and drive to a Cash machine to draw money and drive back. Very annoying.
