Borj Des Cascades & Spa

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful grounds! Stunning large rooms- HUGE comfortable bed and bedding ! We had a balcony overlooking the waterfalls..stunning views day and night. Wish we stayed for more than one night. The pools looked so good but it was Febuary so too cold to use them. We arrived late and the staff couldn't do enough for is to make food etc. They went out of there way up until we left the following day. The breakfast was fantastic. Dinner was only okay but I can't judge as it was so late when they made it for us.

Some of the paint work and tiles etc in the bedroom and bathroom could do with a freshen up. The actual building itself seemed to be very empty, cold, not cozy etc. I would like yo see what the vibe is like during better weather.

The hotel is on top of the hill overlooking the no money can buy!

Nothing really

This is a gorgeous place. We enjoyed ourselves - the room was as pictured with comfy lounge chairs to enjoy the view as it was a bit too chilly on the patio. We also bought the dinner option through booking and were pleased with the choice. There were not many rooms occupied while we were there so two evenings our dinner was served in our room. One breakfast was buffet but the other two were personalized to just us - omelettes made to order. The gardens and the tranquility of the resort were magnificient. The incredible views from the pool, from our room - really the entire property. We walked to the waterfalls and back as a very enjoyable day. Very friendly staff!

The common areas were not heated which was quite chilly in the evening. Knowing this and wearing an extra layer made us more comfortable.

We didn´t really like much to do with the property. The views were amazing but then again you can get those views from other places. The beds were very comfy though.

The place was very dirty, the pool area had empty bottles and dirty tissues under the beds, pieces of broken tiles around and debris inside the pool. The lift was disgustingly dirty and even after pointing out, 2 days later it looked exactly the same. There was no ice in the restaurant when we had dinner and no butter when we had breakfast and this is supposed to be a 5* hotel. The whole place was dark and unwelcoming and the signs were terrible so we kept getting lost as of which floor we were supposed to be all the time. There were piles of dirty linen and broken hoover in corners for the whole duration of our stay. The place has huge potential but it has no love and lacks serious management. We would not recommend it and never go back. Spend your money elsewhere with some soul.
