The location being very close to old Cordoba and the apartment itself with lovely patio-garden that was being showcased in patio tour. The owners were super friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about the property. The intermediate person we were to meet was perhaps not so friendly. But the owners and family were super friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect for easy walking to the Mesquita and Stables with a supermarket just around the corner and parking at the Mesquita was a five minute walk. the showers worked well, the pillows were comfortable. the double bed is very small. it’s the large room which has the ensuite bathroom. the air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms but not in the kitchen.

we were very disappointed with a few aspects. firstly, we were expecting a patio we could use to rest after a lot of sightseeing. it is listed as having a patio so one assumes this is for guests use. we were let in by Alvaro who informed us the owner was away for the weekend. she was not away. the owner was there in the mornings and between 5pm and 8pm giving tours of said patio to the dozens of tourists and in a very loud voice, many times over, day and night. it was impossible to have quiet time and the windows were most definitely not soundproof. in addition she sold jewellery, so it’s a commercial venture too. we encountered up to 12 people crowded in at a time when coming and going. banging of doors in the morning and before opening, so no quiet siesta. it was simply not the quiet time we expected. we were told we could use the patio when it wasn’t open but these times weren’t convenient, nor was there anywhere to sit. there was absolutely no provisions whatsoever and staying in an average of 30 accommodations a year, this is seriously the first time we haven’t been left even hand soap. no tea, coffee, no kettle (which wasn’t listed but never stayed anywhere without one before), nothing whatsoever. not even a tea towel (we used a napkin). the dishwasher was rusted out with the prongs falling off and unusable. the bathroom had a musty sewer smell. the towels had yellow stains on them.
