St Augustine Condo w/ Direct Ocean Access!

The condo was so cute and lots to do. Pool was awesome! I would suggest ceiling fans with lights in the main bedroom and living room. Great place and may come back. The 14 hour drive was a tad much!

Quiet and well kept grounds.

There’s was really nothing bad to say about the property

Lots of beach toys for children. Living room sofas and chairs comfortable and adequate. Refrigerator large. Plenty of dishes.

The "view" of the ocean was only from one small corner of the living room. The bathrooms didn't have exhaust fans. The beds were extremely soft. There were only 2 small sauce pans and small skillets. The beds accommodated 6 people, but the dining table only had chairs for four. Altho the master bedroom was big enough, there was no chair in the room..

It was nice and roomy and they left a bottle of wine for us which was VERY nice- as we arrived very late and had no time to get to a store. That was an exceptional touch and we thank you.

This condo is getting old and needs attention. Really is showing its age. There is a smell in this unit we could not get rid of- hits you when you open the door. Like a coconut type thing- and we both have a horrible aversion for coconut. Anyway- it was always there. The carpets need cleaning! There is a cabinet in the kitchen that you don't know what it is until you open it and then the door comes off its track and you can't get it back on. (appears it use to be a trash pullout) The shower curtain in the master bath desperately needs changing. The pictures on the website show the balcony off the master bedroom with the door open- it looks lovely. But that door does NOT open. My husband is a General Contractor and he could not get it to budge as the handle is dysfunctional. The pictures of this unit on the website need to be updated. The title says "ocean view"- you are NOT on the side of the ocean. You can't even hear the ocean as that door does not open! If you lean your head on the glass you can see the ocean for a smaller view of it. The other balcony off the living area is long and skinny and faces the parking lot. Which is just the way it is- we get it.. but, doesn't look like it gets used much as the furniture out there is dirty so you don't want to sit on it anyway. God has blessed us with the fact that we are able to travel a lot and we take advantage of this time He's giving us. I looked long and hard for a place to stay in St Augustine (which, by the way, is a lovely city to see!) but I wish I would have looked even more. They want a review right away when you leave the unit and we still had 10 days of other travel in front of us so I just texted back "all good" and more later as we were too busy to type all of this.. so the "all good" part is that it is a nice size and the kitchen is functional and they provide you with plenty of towels- but any unit can be that.
