Kirkwood 4

The location of Kirkwood apartments is great. It is an easy walk to the Friday Flat beginners ski area of Thredbo. From there, you can catch the Gunbarrel chairlift to access the whole of the mountain. Or you can hop on the free shuttle and go straight to the heart of the village to catch other lifts or the gondola. Après-ski, it's an easy walk to the village to go shopping and/or visit restaurants. The apartments themselves are very comfy and clean, if a little outdated, décor-wise. But the amenities are great, the kitchen and facilities well-appointed and communication with the booking team easy.

The only negative is that we received detailed emailed instructions to dispose of recyclables at the end of our stay. However, they referred to yellow and purple bags that were not provided in the apartment (unless we missed something). Not a big deal as we took our recycling away with us.
