The apartment is exactly as pictured and accurately described. It is comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with everything you would expect for a practical and easy stay.
The kitchen includes all the essentials plus small helpful supplies such as hand wash, washing-up liquid, sugar, and oil. There is a coffee machine with a reusable filter. Heating and air conditioning work well, and the apartment was warm throughout our stay.
Water pressure is strong, hot water is limited but consistently hot, and a good-quality hairdryer is provided. Bedding was clean and comfortable, with four large pillows, an extra blanket, and alternative bedding options available. There is also a drying rack and a heater in the toilet, which is useful for drying ski gear.
The balcony is accessible and has a nice view, and the tilt-opening windows are great for fresh air at night. The apartment is in a quiet area of Bansko, with no disturbance at night. Parking is easy to find directly outside, which is a big advantage compared to areas closer to the gondola. Shops are within easy walking distance once you find the correct route.
The host is responsive and easy to reach, especially via WhatsApp. Check-in was contactless and straightforward, with clear instructions provided. A late check-out was kindly offered, which was much appreciated.
The apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift, which is worth noting if you have young children or are carrying ski equipment. This is part of why the apartment offers such good value. If you are looking for a comfortable, honest, and well-priced base rather than luxury, this is a great option.
