Excellent stay

Location was perfect (enroute to Toscany from Denmark). We spent two nights and used the sunday relaxing and went for a Mountain scooter ride. Very recommendable.

Nothing to do with Chalet Rotenstein but all supermarkets in the area was closed when we arrived (late afternoon Saturday) and also Sunday.

Toilet and rooms had no lock. Host gave a key for toilet. would be great if there is fan or Aircon.

Nice chalet in the heart of the mountain!

The Chalet is very spacious and comfy, we were 5 people and everyone had a comfortable bed in a big bedroom! It is very clean and well furnished, you only need to bring your personal things. The balcony and the view on the mountain are pleasant, and John is very welcoming, reactive and helpful. We had a great time at the Chalet :)

A washing machine would have been appreciable for long stay (we stayed at the Chalet 7 nights), a separate toilet from the bathroom would have been also more convenient because we were 5 people, and it is quite quiet except for the bedroom which is right next the church ringing regularly. It did not hinder our stay at the Chalet, these are tips for making the Chalet perfect :)

Incredible view, best location!

The view from the room is incredible! Right behind the house starts a path to climb one of the surrounding peaks of 2008m. The house is nice and the owner very warm and understanding. I highly recommend this location.

Good facilities, clean and comfortable.

Booking.com took our booking, but when we arrived the proprietor said they had no rooms available. Thankfully he gave us an apartment, we just had to wait until he got it ready.

Wonderful until we had to change the location.

It was in the near the Sky paths.

You can book only from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday and we booked 11 nights so we had to change location. Our reservation overlaps with another.

Appartamento carino in zona tranquilla

Appartamento ampio e luminoso. Grande cucina ben attrezzata. Il villaggio é molto carino e in zona ci sono molte cose da fare. In circa 40 minuti si arriva ai castelli di Hohenschwangau e Neuschwanstein

Abbiamo prenotato il 14/8 sera per 3 notti a partire dal 15 (Ferragosto). Mi hanno mandato un messaggio chiedendomi di saldare prima del nostro arrivo tramite una App che non avevamo mai sentito (SARA) o tramite bonifico: ho risposto che avrei fatto il bonifico ma che non avrebbero visto la transazione fino al lunedì dato che il 15 era festivo sia in Italia che in Austria, chiedendo quindi se sarebbe stato sufficiente presentarmi a ritirare le chiavi con la ricevuta del bonifico. Mi hanno risposto che avrei dovuto pagare in contanti l’intero importo al momento del ritiro delle chiavi. Tutto questo non é specificato nell’annuncio, dove anzi é scritto chiaramente che non si accettano contanti ma solo pagamenti tramite Maestro. Abbiamo dovuto prelevare al bancomat (e pagare una commissione non trascurabile essendo all’estero) perché ovviamente non avevamo con noi tutti quei contanti. Contrariamente a quanto letto in altre recensioni, non abbiamo avuto alcun tipo di contatto con l’host: la consegna e la restituzione delle chiavi é avvenuta presso un’altra struttura in cui mi hanno chiaramente detto che loro si occupavano solo di gestire le chiavi dello Chalet. Pulizia migliorabile (in particolare i mobili della cucina e la tenda del bagno), soprattutto considerando la cifra che é riportata sulla fattura circa la pulizia finale dell’appartamento (notevole).

Als het geïsoleerd kan worden voor geluid en gordijnen verduisterd, heb je een prima accommodatie

Alles was aanwezig, prima kamers

Ontzettend gehorig. En dan de pech met ontzettend asociale bovenburen, die hun jonge kinderen vlot nog tot 0030 laten gillen en rennen. Dramatisch. Ook gordijnen niet gevoerd waardoor je -althans in de zomer- heel vroeg veel licht in je kamer krijgt. Waardeloos geslapen dus.

Camere spatioase,vedere spre munte, liniste in zona, peisaje frumoase.

In bucatarie nu exista cuptor , doar plita! Nu este un minus, e doar o instiintare pentru viitorii oaspeti!

Voordelig verblijf, goed gelegen, vrij eenvoudig.

Goede ligging in het dorp. Goede bedden. Voldoende ruimte voor 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Mooi balkon uitkijkend over het dorp en skiliften in zicht.

De inrichting is wat gedateerd.

Top-verblijf!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Chalet Rotenstein. Wij werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen en konden rekenen op veel flexibiliteit. Wij hadden een gezellig appartement voor 4 personen met een prachtig uitzicht. Het was er netjes, rustig en volledig in orde. We mochten er een slee lenen waardoor we ons ook nog heel goed konden amuseren op een nabijgelegen piste achter het mooie kerkje.

Heerlijk appartement

Appartement Fohre is ruim opgezet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Met de volledig ingerichte keuken kun je fijn thuis koken. Ligging is top, je loopt overal in het dorp zo naartoe; supermarkt, skilift, restaurants. Bedbank sliep verrassend goed. Hoewel het direct naast de kerk ligt heb je hier nauwelijks last van. Weg voor het appartement is stijl, maar verwarmd, dus goed begaanbaar.

De bedden waren wat zacht. Douchewater temperatuur was niet goed in te stellen; heet of koud. Daarbij helaas weinig waterdruk. Oplossing is in bad gaan!
