Agriturismo Villa Almè

It was a beautiful property with many amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was very good quality. Breakfast staff wonderful. It was quiet and the sunsets were beautiful. They were very accommodating when they were there. The setting was well thought out and great for pictures. The AC was great and was very needed during the heat wave. The cleaning staff did a good job and kept the room clean. The lobby area and the breakfast area were beautiful and well appointed.

The front desk wasn't always staffed so sometimes hard to ask for things but when they were they they were helpful. The WIFI was not great and would drop-off and require you to log in over and over again and was often not available for a little while. The room fridge seemed too warm so I didn't use it. After hours in order to open the front gate you would have to get out of the car to scan the card provided to open the gate. To make this easier it might be a place to install something that you could scan from your car to open the gate especially at night. If your forgot your card and are locked out you needed to buzz someone to get in and would get let in a few minutes. So remember to take your gate card. The pool chairs were nice but a few that you could sit in upright would be helpful too. The lounge chairs were nice but a variety would be nice. Also some signage in English around the pool would be helpful.

Die Begrüßung und Vorstellung unserer Suite von Herrn E. war sehr herzlich und führte zu einem Wow-Effekt. Die Suite war riesig mit 2 großen möblierten Terrassen mit Sicht aufs eigene Weingut, der Pollanlage und im Hintergrund den Dolomiten. Einfach traumhaft. Die Suite hatte eine super Klimaanlage mit einer leisen Nachtschaltung. Das Bad war sehr groß mit sehr großem Duschbereich. Das Bett war sehr groß mit super Matratze. Die großen Panorama-Terrassentüren waren ergänzt mit Insektenschiebetüren. Die Minibar stand kostenlos zur Verfügung und wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Der Pool war super mit kleinem Wirlpoolbereich. Badetücher und Bademäntel wurden kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Ebenfalls gab es große Sonnenliegen und Schirme. Ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Anwesen ist über Nacht mit elektronischen Toreinfahrten verschlossen. Zum Frühstück gab es regionale Wurst, Schinken und Käse. Weiterhin täglich wechselnde, von Hernn E. selbst gebackene Tortenvariationen, sowie unterschiedliche Croissantsarten und vieles mehr. Frisch gepressten Orangensaft, Quark, Nussvariationen, frisches Obst. Wir wurden immer gefragt, ob und welche Eierspeisen wir möchten. Diese wurden dann frisch zubereitet. Rührei von frischen Eiern, wo man das Eiweiß erkennen konnte. Also keine Hotel-Eimasse, wie sonst üblich. Ebenso frisch zubereitete Kaffee-Variationen. Das gesamte Personal erfüllte mit Freude jeden Wunsch. Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Jeweils eine Stunde zum Meer, zu den Bergen, Skigebiet Piancavallo auch zum Wandern und nach Venedig. Wir fühlten uns im ersten Moment gleich wie zu Hause. Hier wird darauf wert gelegt, dass es dem Gast gut geht, und nicht auf finanziellen Profit. Das gesamte Anwesen ist einfach magisch. Wir haben jede Minute unserer 14 Tage genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Einfach perfekt.

We chose this place based on very positive feedback from guests and ideal location in north Italy, close to both sea and mountains. We really enjoyed our stay - this quiet acoomodation in the small village with the vineyards all around. We appreciated the calm vibe of this place, it helped us relax on vacation without our kids :) Only surprise was during first night a serie of fireworks in the neighbour village at 2AM :D I am sure this was rare exception and not a habit. We arrived by car. We were very grateful that we were allowed late check-in. During our way to Italy we get a call from reception, explaining step by step how we can open gate and the house with our mobile phone while the reception is closed in the night. It was a great service. There was no extra fee for late check-in. The pool was clean, warm and with bubbles and water cascade which can be turned on and off with a buttons in the water! The sunbeds were surprisingly big. Our Superior room was located in the second floor. Air condition was working well. Bathroom was huge and very nice. Bed was also huge and comfy. You can sit on the balcony, just watch out for mosquitos in the evening. There are outdoor roller blinds on the windows of the balcony! Minibar is included in the price of the room. We had a coffemaker with capsules and a kettle for tea. Our room was cleaned every day. - nice breakfast with option to prepare fresh eggs in the form that you like - friendly staff - nice surroundings - quite place - enough of parking space - spacious pool (not huge, but good enough!) - spacious room and shower

These are not negatives!! Just a few recommendations. To make the stay even better, there might be: - possibility to use pool in the late evening / early morning - more shelfs in the wardrobe - some information leaflet for the shy guests who are not talkative much :) - about pool/gym opening hours and rules, minibar offer and prices, option to buy a vine, rent a bike, recommendation for places to go for dinner etc. - less changing of towels (there is a note in bathroom to hang towels if we don't need new ones, but the cleaning lady collects all every day anyway)
