Fantastic quiet, peaceful location. Ideal for relaxing or walking the nearby fells. Lots of walking options from the door. Short walk into Coniston along the old railway track. Pubs nearby. Amazing facilities, very clean, perfect getaway for 1 or 2 people.
Being able to hear the guest staying in the property above. Could hear every footstep. Some noise is fine, but being able to hear the TV and the person coughing is a bit too much for me.

Lovely, well-equipped, warm, clean apartment. Great location for accessing southern fells without having to drive anywhere.
Some bigger cereal/soup bowls! Reading the visitors book I'm not the only active person to stay there. Can't get 3 Shredded Wheat (or my GF alternative) in the ones in the cupboard, fuelling up for a day out on the hills. The pasta bowls might have been a bit excessive! A very minor niggle, everything else was great.
