Ideal lakes getaway apartment/ location. Beware of an upstairs tenant in the apartment above!
Fantastic quiet, peaceful location. Ideal for relaxing or walking the nearby fells. Lots of walking options from the door. Short walk into Coniston along the old railway track. Pubs nearby. Amazing facilities, very clean, perfect getaway for 1 or 2 people.
Being able to hear the guest staying in the property above. Could hear every footstep. Some noise is fine, but being able to hear the TV and the person coughing is a bit too much for me.

Went too quickly......
Lovely, well-equipped, warm, clean apartment. Great location for accessing southern fells without having to drive anywhere.
Some bigger cereal/soup bowls! Reading the visitors book I'm not the only active person to stay there. Can't get 3 Shredded Wheat (or my GF alternative) in the ones in the cupboard, fuelling up for a day out on the hills. The pasta bowls might have been a bit excessive! A very minor niggle, everything else was great.

Sink hole in bathrm needs cleaning. Porch light not working.

Very good
The location was great for amazing walks. The cottage was comfortable with a lovely little garden and patio.
The curtains in the bedroom were too thin. Initially we couldn't find a bath mat to stop us slipping in the bath, eventually found it tucked behind the sink pedestal but it was very grimy. Had to give it a bit of a scrub before we could face using it.

A lovely, cosy stay!
- A short walk into Coniston via a track away from the road. - Mountain walks available from the cottage. - A comfy bed. - A perfect space for two - everything you need! - Having a washing machine. - Having a decent sized fridge/freezer. - Having a bath.
There wasn't much cupboard space in the kitchen - perhaps too many other bits and bobs? The fan is the bathroom made a thumping noise (calmed down pretty quickly after use but just want to let the owners know).
