Very comfortable, well appointed and quiet property with a wonderful view.

Phenomenal view of one end of the lagoon and birdlife adjacent to the property. Lovely inside braai place. Three nice large bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Well appointed and equipped kitchen. Vincent, who lives on site, left us alone completely.

It's quite cold downstairs, with no means of heating. Conversely, there's no air con in the bedrooms for when it's warm. No toilet downstairs or for guests. A few other picky details could be improved, but not worth mentioning.

La Maison Bleu is located on the edge of nature overlooking the Langebaan lagoon. The peace and quiet and view are breathtaking. The house feels like home. Lovingly and thoughtfully decorated and stocked with beautiful crockery. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Pillows were not great. I was sorry I didnt bring my own from home.

Amazing unhindered panoramic view of the reserve and lagoon. Bird and animal life just outside the large windows. Spacious and well laid out.

Better ventilation in toilets required. Suggest: put (opening) window next to hair drying table in main bedroom. Pool not heated. Inverter needs upgrading. Power trips when too many stove plates on. No clearly visible street number, making it difficult to find after long journey. Suggest: put street number (in large) on white doors next to garage.

Hidden gem, very special place.

The location was exceptional, with stunning views. Very quiet and peaceful overlooking miles of fynbos and the lagoon, perfect spot to re-energize. The house was beautiful and very well equipped with high end fittings and utensils, absolute luxury stay. Wonderful staff, very unobtrusive and friendly, and always ready to help with a smile.

Hidden gem with stunning views

This is a hidden gem with beautiful views over Langebaans lagoon. All rooms are absolutely stunning and large and bedrooms have beautiful linen. Large balconies from most bedrooms looking into a courtyard with a pool. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Stunning lounge with views over de nature reserve and lagoon and beautiful walks down to the lagoon. I highly recommend this place and it’s location and will definitely return on my next visit to Langebaan.

If there is one thing I would change is to have a guest toilet downstairs.
