Skip this one unless you are willing to compromise. There are other sweet options out there.

Great location. Needs a gate key to be included. We had two elderly folks with us and booked this because of its path access into town. But the gate was locked. The kitchen had been recently refreshed.

The mattresses. The taddy couches. The stained and dingy carpets. The layout.

Never go for an old house

The location is perfect, the parking space in front of the house is very convenient as well, but...

The house is old, there is only one shower (but 2 toilets), The Internet was awful, they sent someone to check the problem, the guy said he could connect, so there was no problem. Well it did connect, but it was on and off all the time, we had to pay for another wifi to be able to work from there. The power went off because we used the washing machine and they were unable to tell us the exact location of the fuse, the information in the welcome book was wrong and whoever answer my message through booking.com told me it was somewhere else, so after 30 minutes trying to find the fuse we managed and we had to inform them where it was located. And the cherry on the cake was the heating stopped working on our last night there. I wrote to them, they sent someone there to take a look, but unfortunately I wasnt at home at the moment. The person set the heating exactly like I had already tried and left the house saying it was "warming up". Didn't even touch the heaters to check if they were indeed warming up. When we came back home, the house was still cold. I wrote them again and the person gave me the same instructions as before, as if I was not able to read and follow instructions. I was frustrated and upset. It was cold, there were 2 kids in the house with us and we slept and woke up the next day in the cold. So if you are planning to visit st andrews, chose a newly refurbished house if you dont want to be desapointed. I stayed in 3 places before St Andrews, all booked with booking.com and they were perfect. St andrews is a very special place for me, and I left the town sad and angry.

Standard of cleanliness could have been better. Towels and bed linen clean. Though underblanket stained and needs replaced. Walls in kitchen and toilet and bathroom stained. Garden areas untidy, dirty dripping pipes and unclean pipes and paving. In general rooms need redecorated as marks on walls. Dishwasher did not work needs reserviced. Bathroom dirty definitely needs work to bring it up to Booking.com standard. Dirty greasy oven tray left not very welcoming!

Beautiful large apartment walking distance to the main streets of St Andrew’s.

Location was superb. Super close to the main town. Lovely shops and restaurants. Easy access to supermarkets so we were able to cook breakfast each morning.

Some cooking oil could have been provided. I felt like that should have been a basic staple especially if cooking utensils are available.

it was very spacious, excellently located and just the ticket for a group of friends playing golf in Saint Andrews.

while very comfortable, it was a little bit rough around the edges. Certainly nothing to stop us from coming back, but with a little bit more attention it could’ve been excellent.

Amazing location and facilities in accommodation. Stays staff also very helpful and quick to sort issues.A few issues with shower, front door needed to be slammed to close plus heating/hot water stopped working on last night. This would not put me off booking this gorgeous accommodation. My stay was very enjoyable.

Enjoyable

The flat was spacious and cosy as the weather was cold at our visit. The fact things like tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine were available. Every thing was clean and ready for use.

The TV reception was poor until we switched the WFI off and then on again. It would have also been handy to have the key to the gate opposite the front door saving a bit of a walk to the Main Street.

Lovely apartment if you arrive late and leave early!!

Great location close to city centre and easy access to top sights. Spacious living area in the apartment and well appointed facilities.

The strict 4:00pm check-in. We arrived at the property at 3:30pm after a long day of travel but didn’t dare enter!! Check-out is 10:00am so this gives an unnecessary six hour turn around to prepare the property for next check-in. you can however have early access or late checkout if you pay! just think this is rather mean-spirited

Location is excellent , house is very comfortable and spacious. Very well kept and clean .

Only downside I would say is could be doing with upgrading the bathroom and a walk in shower , when there are 6 people takes a while to get your shower . Although wouldn’t stop me staying there again .

Fantastic property located in the centre of St Andrews town making it great to walk in. The added benefit of the car parking space was also great whilst on a golf trip provided easy access for us in and around St Andrews. The property was clean, spacious and served our needs perfectly. Basic essentials provided.

The property management staff was excellent! We had a problem with heat & hot water. They sent someone over right away to check it out. Then the electrician came and fixed it. We were impressed by their quick reply and professionalism.

Ok Location, OK Apartment, but overpriced imho.

Liked the location, specifically the adjacency to South Street, but the parking wasn't great. kerbed an alloy while trying to park in a very tight and narrow space provided. Inside space in the apartment was good especially liked the room with the patio.

in summary, noisy neighbours, blocked off fireplace (waste of a feature), One set of keys for a house that has three bedrooms, The shower that sprayed water everywhere and had to clean to get it working properly and the drain that didn't drain. (not blocked but very slow). painted "shut" windows so that they couldn't be opened. didn't like the back area outside the kitchen. Kitchen could do with an "update" and it wouldn't be too much to put some basics in like Salt/pepper, coffee, tea bags?. i've been in others recently and they had all that and much more for less money.
