Skye Sands - Westview House

Excellent location with a free allocated parking space outside. The property has been recently renovated to an extremely high specification and is very comfortable and spacious. An absolute delight to spend a few days in. Luxury soap and shampoo in all bathrooms a treat. Although there were guests upstairs the flat was extremely quiet.

Some odd omissions in the kitchen. No glass tumblers. Serving G&T and whisky in pint glasses was unusual. There is a high end coffee machine in the kitchen minus a few pods to use on arrival which is a shame as the offering of cheap coffee, tea and UHT milk sachets didn’t seem in keeping with the property and the lack of a welcome pint of fresh milk, decent coffee and a packet of biscuits is something that even the most humble self catering properties seem to offer.

We stayed at this property pre refurb. What a job they have made of modernising this property. High end finishes and very comfortable. Excellent location.

There were a few snagging issues - but assume related to recent refurb. We alerted the rental company. Nothing major

The tv kept losing signal and Netflix was buffering and didn’t have a strong enough internet connection to watch anything.
