Really nice and quiet place to stay. Would recommend to anyone.

It was quirky and had everything we needed. The hosts were brilliant and so friendly. Location was spot on for us, as we were a short walk from the local pub which was also really nice.

Had a little difficulty locating the actual property on the narrow road. Would recommend google maps to pinpoint the exact location for anyone staying here.

A little home from home

Staying at the Shed was so lovely. There is everything you need and more. Jayne & Brendan we're amazing hosts and so accommodating, as all the other reviews say. The use of the pool was such a bonus for our teenager.

Unique, outstanding property with excellent hosts!

From booking to departure, this host could not have been more welcoming or helpful. I had some requests to celebrate my son's graduation and every request was accommodated with good cheer. The property was immaculately clean and beautifully presented.

Excellent value for money and comfort. Jayne and Brendan were brilliant hosts.

Property was built from recycled materials and there were options i.e. 2 loos, 2 showers and 2 sinks. The tv was the largest we had ever seen in a rental property. Area was very quiet.

We had to go through huge Swansea traffic jams to get to some other areas of interest.

Quirky, well planned out, homely. There is plenty of space. Clean and well maintained. Perfect location amongst the trees. Couldnt ask for more. There is everything you possibly need. The hosts Brendan and Jayne have thought of everything, and what a delightful couple they are too!!!! We will see you again soon.

Cosy shed with a parking spot, quiet and fonctionnal with most ammenities, sheets and towels provided. The bed in the room is very confortable.

It's a narrow space, very small sink and shower. Water pressure in the shower could be better. The pull out bed could be more confortable.

Fantastic hideaway

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need. It feels homely and tucked away. The rain on the roof was cosy and we enjoyed an evening of Netflix and dinner using their fabulous kitchen. My son loved it. Can’t wait to be back.

The shed was like a little slice of heaven! Set right in natures pocket and so peaceful! The use of the pool and gym was fantastic for our lazy days around the property! We will definitely be back! The location was really good too! Thanks for having us!! Memories forever!

Great adventure at The Shed!

We had a fabulous time at the shed. It was really exciting to be staying somewhere a bit different. We spent our few days at Craig-y-Nos, Three Cliffs Bay,, Brecon mountain railway and the final day we found the most beautiful waterfall. The Shed was a great base and we especially enjoyed having a go on the Thermomix which was fascinating and the kids loved the pool. Thank you Jayne and Brendan for being so welcoming!

Pleasant

beautiful location

We were expecting a full kitchen but there was only a microwave, a Vitamin, a fridge, a dishwasher, and an oddly tiny sink. There is room for a small stove and a larger sink which would have made the place perfect. Also, we couldn't use the pool due to a filter issue. Not a big deal as we were busy but it could have been nice to take a quick dip.

Super accommodation run by lovely people

They have worked very hard to create a welcoming place to stay. Parking is easy. There are so many examples of how much thought has gone into making this a clean, cozy relaxing place for guests. The kitchen facilities are excellent, and well laid out other than the sink which is fine if you follow the simple instructions. A lovely outdoor area for a barbecue at the right time of year. Loads space to leave walking kit to dry. There is plenty of room in the main area and a great tv and sofa. The bedroom has excellent privacy and isn't overlooked. If you like watching birds there is a tree right outside. Nice clean, fresh towels and bedding. Excellent wifi and a lot of good clear information about things to do supplied. I'd definitely stay there if I was working locally again. I don't know how my review was only worth 9/10. I'd like to give it more!

It's not the easiest place to find but good communication from the host helped with that. Perhaps a little sign in the road might be useful if it's allowed. I am not a fan of air fresheners though I know they're popular. For 2 people the bed which I think is a double, might be a bit smaller. The bedroom is a bit little but perfectly workable, clean, pleasant and warm. The basin in the kitchen is slightly quirky and the shower cubicle might be a bit small for some.

Exceptional

The hosts were lovely truly exceptional and could not of done enough for us. Very helpful and amazing knowledge of the area. The Shed was a great hideaway, unique looking which we love, relaxing, spacious and great location. Plenty for the kids to keep entertained, t.v, games, books etc. Heated indoor swimming pool was exceptional and an added bonus. Lovely outside space and bbq which we used. Great pubs, walks minutes away.

We Couldn’t find the thermomix and so with no cooker /hob main meals at the shed weren’t possible. A microwave and toaster meant snacks/ light meals were possible though.

A place to rest and relax before getting back to being busy

Location had beautiful scenery and was very quiet and relaxing. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of places to visit for all interests. Hosts provided information about local places of interest. The village had several pubs that provided a good menu at reasonable prices.

Nothing to dislike. We are hoping to visit again soon.

A wonderful, friendly, eco-friendly haven!

The hosts were exceptionally fantastic, Jayne and Brendan are both the loveliest people. I loved that the entire building is solar-powered and built almost entirely from re-used materials. Recycling is in place within the well-equipped kitchen, even paper waste can be burnt on the fire pit in the private garden. The double bedroom and double sofa bed provide ample room for 4 guests. They provide a gas barbeque, and very kindly allowed access to their own indoor heated pool which was perfect for rainy days, and allow you to charge your electric vehicle if required for free. There are a couple of friendly pubs nearby; castle walks and a range of beaches are all within an hour's drive. A massive thank you again to the hosts for their incredible hospitality.

The kitchen "sink" is a little unusual, a very small part of the overall amazing experience... but they do provide a dishwasher and tablets so that's great :-)
