Casa La Aventura Guasacate - Popoyo

Really pretty and cool design of the (large) rooms and the hotel. Lots of places to relax, well equipped kitchen and can buy some essentials on site. Very quiet and good for relaxing.

Power was out almost all day one of the days (but not at neighboring places).

Fantastic place. Beautiful setting, great place to work, with good wifi and lots of nice areas to sit in. Staff are great. The fruit truck comes by everyday 😊. Also great value for money

Nice place with everything you need for a comfy stay. Nothing fancy, but a lot of details that make it a good stay. My private cabin was good, it was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was large and well equipped for my basic needs. It was really quiet when I visited, so there was no noise coming from the communal area or the kitchen, which I appreciated. Access to the beach is an easy 5 min walk. Overall a great one night stay!

Not a lot that can be done, but you can hear the road quite a bit (more than I expected). Probably the same goes for most properties in Guasacate, so nothing that would put me off returning here.

The structure is very basic, but quite charming. Cleanliness was good, though it could be improved. Parking is convenient if you have a vehicle. Overall, a place with potential.

We arrived late after a long journey and found there was no electricity the first night. In countries like this, it can happen — fair enough. The next morning, there was no water either. Power briefly came back, then went out again around 8 PM, so we spent a second night with no electricity or water, in extreme heat. What bothered me most was the complete lack of communication — no explanation, no apology. A backup generator would really help in situations like this. Especially considering we paid full price, a bit more attention would have been appreciated.
