The view is fantastic! The staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant was good. We liked that it was a little away from La Fortuna and it is well placed for the zip lines! Great value for money!

It is very peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake and volcano (even though we never saw the top because of the rain). The hummingbirds love the purple flowers below the deck so there’s a constant show. We slept so well in the beds with the dark curtains and rain pelting the roof. There was always a cool breeze on the patio. The kitchenette is surprisingly well-stocked so we could make coffee and save money on some meals. The included breakfast was also great.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit far from La Fortuna but we didn’t mind.

Cons: Noise from next door neighbors - dogs barking and howling / Bed was too firm / TV was outdated - could not use streaming apps (also TV was in the way of curtains) / WiFi temporary outage / Toilet and plumbing issues / Sugar ants in kitchen and on bed / Dinner prices were rather expensive
